How To Use The Law Of Attraction To Get Fit
We would all like to feel like a fashion model walking the beach like it was our runway when summer comes along, wouldn’t we? When it starts to get warmer outside, we suddenly see many ads showing us how we can get our ideal summer bodies, but we won’t find what we’re looking for in any diet tea. To feel comfortable and confident, you need to change something else instead! The Law Of Attraction can help you get closer to many goals, and one of those things can be how you feel about your body.
How you feel about your body
Though ads would like us to believe that what we want is to weigh a certain number on the scale or be able to buy an outfit in a specific size, what we’re searching for is a feeling. We want to feel comfortable and confident in our bodies. Want to know a secret? This feeling is available to you, even now! Take a moment to close your eyes and imagine yourself confident and comfortable in your body. What are you doing? Who are you with? Imagine and feel like you’re there. I’m guessing that you weren’t starving yourself with a 15-day juice cleanse or doing burpees. For me, I see myself laughing freely with the people I love. That’s when I feel most comfortable in my body. That, or dancing! I love to dance, forget myself, and feel free. So what we are searching for in skinny tea, workout programs, or diets is a pass and permission for us to celebrate our bodies. Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that when we adhere to what society wants us to be, then maybe we can celebrate our bodies. Contrary to this popular belief, we don’t have to wait! We can do it right now.
Take action
Who are some people you know that have positive relationships with their bodies? Pay attention to what they do right. How do they talk about their body, move, exercise? Instead of punishing yourself for not being perfect, celebrate all that you can do! I also believe that habits can be an excellent way to make you feel positive about your body. I am always inspired by projects and like to set goals. For fitness goals, people usually set a goal of losing a certain amount of weight. Instead of developing this kind of goal, set one that will make you feel good about your body in the long term. Set a goal of getting exercise every day. My fiance recently bought us a badminton kit that we set up in the park by our house. Sometimes it feels silly, but we get excited to go outside, jump around, and put all our energy into winning. Set goals to stay healthy and happy, not to attain unachievable beauty standards.
Workouts
When you do a workout, have it be a positive activity! Maybe you want to work out to feel alive or stronger! These are great reasons to move your body! When I was a teenager, I would exercise to punish myself for eating too much or not being as active as I should have been that week. When I switched my mentality to using exercise as a way to take care of not only my body but also my mental health, everything changed. I started to love to work out and knew I would leave workouts feeling inspired and full of energy afterward. Don’t punish yourself with exercise! Marvel at all the incredible things your body is capable of!
Gratitude
Love your body for what it is now. Think of all the many things your body does for you; even at this moment, as you read, it is keeping you alive! Even that simple fact is extraordinary! Your body continues to keep you alive even when you don’t appreciate it or even like it. I know that I have become so much more grateful for everything my body can do for me after a week of having a cold. My nose was stuffy for a week, so suddenly, having a nose that can smell seems like the most wonderful thing! It’s my goal to bring this kind of appreciation for my body into other things it does for me, and I feel so much better with this kind of perspective. Yes, we can work to be the best we can be, but it’s also essential to take the time to appreciate who we are in this moment.
