How to turn off all effects temporarily
If you have a lot of effects in your project in Adobe Premiere Pro, using a lot of power from your computer, you can mute all of them temporarily while editing for a smoother playback…
…or you can delete all the clips, sell the computer and start playing the piano 🎹 but if you don’t want to do that, you can click the little “Fx”-button in the project window and if you hold the plus-icon in this window you can add more buttons.

You could also set a keyboard shortcut for the “Global Fx Mute”-command, preferably maybe “ctrl + M” and to create keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro, check out this video.
