How to Transcend Trauma and Heal Our Souls

Trauma explained by a Holistic Practitioner.

There are several kinds of trauma that we may be familiar with: Emotional, physical, mental.

Not as well known is the type that is absorbed in the body. Trauma can also travel through many incarnations and becomes inherited from generations before us.

Our traumatic experiences can be soaked up like a sponge, remaining in a person’s energy system, organs, soul and, chakras until it is set free.

Trauma can show up on the body physically, through impact or a blow to the body. Remain in the body as an emotional block if it hasn’t been addressed or healed, triggering later an emotional disturbance in the body at a later time.

Severe trauma that goes unhealed can show up as Dis-ease in the body. And, the body’s way of letting you know it is not in alignment. These create energetic blocks. They can stop the life force (chi) in your body from moving around efficiently.

We can carry trauma from this life or another life before the one we are in now. Stays silent until noticed by a healer or the person itself, lingering like an imprint on your soul.

Trauma that has happened emotionally is like a scar on your soul. A remembrance lodged in your heart like a bullet that didn’t exit the body.

Each trauma overlaps the one before it, sometimes in the same space or a different part of the body.

One can witness a traumatic event that will also remain behind in the body after it has occurred. Like a photograph, a memory that perhaps you look back on.

This kind of trauma can also be inherited 3 to 4 generations before you.

Absorbed trauma can occur when you witness it, or you energetically take on another’s pain in an attempt to soften the blow for the person who is having the trauma.

Those who are Empaths and highly-sensitive people can experience this trauma more significantly. Compared to others that are not so sensitive to others’ emotions.

When we experience trauma, regardless of the degree, fragments of our soul depart then, as a way to protect themselves, from the full brunt of the trauma.

It is like a cut-off switch for your electric power board. The body and soul temporarily switch off to somehow deal with the experience.

In most cases, this is how it happens. Others can become paralyzed by their trauma and require more specific attention.

How a soul-being experiences trauma will depend on the individual.

How one chooses to heal and process or ignore the trauma also depends on the individual. Agreements were made at the incarnation, but up to us to work through.

They say we should face our fears…

Having the courage to face our trauma is just as critical for our well-being. It may seem daunting at first, however, it is possible. There is the fear of the unknown, of what you may find.

Unhealed trauma can seep into other areas of our lives unknowingly. A trigger that we may experience in this life, can also trigger a traumatic event that may have happened in a past life, but our soul remembers still.

Trauma is complex, having many layers of experiences gathered up within it. It requires patience and a compassionate state of mind and heart to go beyond the surface of our distress, and the pain and suffering we may encounter along the way.
