How To Set Goals and Hit Them

Regardless of the stage of life you are in, goals (big and small) can unlock the key to a more fulfilling lifestyle. However, setting achievable goals is much easier said than done. Come along with me on another lesson as we learn how to set achievable goals and how to hit them.
“But why would I even want to set goals in the first place?”
By setting achievable goals, we are opening our intuition and providing clarity and purpose to our lives. Sometimes, people love to take risks. Other times, not so much.
No path is ever entirely linear. Pot holes will pop up in your life, but it is how we deal with them that will shape up the legacy we leave behind for the next generation.

“That’s all well and good Luke, but where on earth do I start with all of this?”
- Make a crucial decision: What is the most important goal in your life? Is it to earn a promotion in your career? Or to feel closer to your children? And is it achievable in the next 12 months? If you cannot achieve your goal, work towards a smaller goal, break your goals down into segments, and think of an orange.
- Reassert your decision: You can help reassert your achievable goals by informing family and friends, writing your goals in a journal/notebook, or actively seeking your goals through communication and trial and error.
- What is the first thing I need to do?: Reassess the situation. Don’t be afraid to reach out for support. Remember that your loved ones want to see you succeed and will help in any way they can. Utilize your social circles.

Once you have started working towards your goals, expect your independence to increase. Make sure not to become arrogant, watch your ego. Remember that people are there to support you and that you are not better than anyone. Acknowledge equilibrium so we can all work towards a bright future.
