How To Ride Your Man and Send Him Crazy

There is nothing sexier than a woman riding a man with confidence

Babe, do you fear having to get on top during sex because you don’t know if you’ll get it right? You’re not alone and it’s more common than you think. Many women get so nervous to ride their man that they don’t enjoy it when it’s happening. You don’t want this. Once you get the hang of being on top, it’s not only sexy but it’s fun to do.

Most people think that girl-on-top refers to a cowgirl or reverse cowgirl position. But the truth is, there are so many variations that you could explore.

Also, did you know you can actually squirt during intercourse? It’s also one of those things that men (and women) love.

So let’s talk about how to rock girl-on-top. I have 4 tips that will help you master this position and boost your confidence.

#1: Learn to move your hips

Riding your man is all about moving your hips. And for that, I could not recommend enough to take one or two belly dance classes to improve your hips.

With my Arabic origins, I’ve been practicing belly dancing since I’m a little girl. Yes, I have an advantage. I noticed that belly dance has taught me to move my hips and my legs naturally. So if you feel not confident enough with girl-on-top, take a belly dance class. Not only is belly dancing sexy, it will benefit you when you’re going to ride your man.

Belly dance is about isolating and using your hips and legs, which are the same muscles you use when on top. In belly dance, you practice doing hip circles, figure eights, and hip lifts to begin with.

If you want to try at home without taking a class, here is a quick guide on how to perform these movements.

Always start sitting with your legs bent and your calves on the floor. Take a deep breath and stay relaxed as you lift your thighs a couple of inches off your calves.

Hip Circles

Shift your weight to the left hip and tuck your tailbone, then shift your weight to the right hip. Relax your tailbone as you come full circle and resume from the start.

Hip lifts

Take a deep breath and relax your body as you focus your attention on your hips and abs. Contract your oblique muscle to lift the left hip and release to drop. Repeat with the right hip.

Figure eights

Shift your weight to the left hip, then to the front, and make a semi-circle towards the back. As you do this, your right hip will naturally gravitate towards the front.

#2: Boost your Confidence

Girl-on-top is a great position to boost your confidence. When you are confident in bed, you are more confident in life as well. And the best part is, a lot of the tips inside the bedroom work outside of the bedroom.

Close your eyes when you are performing girl-on-top and notice your self-talk. What do you say to yourself? Are you being self-compassionate? Or are you judging yourself? Chance is that if you’re judging yourself, your partner will sense it. So bring awareness to your self-talk and repeat these positive affirmations:

  • “I’m sexy,”
  • “I’m rocking this,”
  • “I’m confident,”
  • “He is loving this,”
  • “He loves when I ride him.”

Real-life sex is a far cry from what we see in movies or porn and real-life lovers are far from perfect. So be gentle with yourself.

#3: Get comfortable

When it comes to riding your man, you need to make sure that you are comfy, otherwise you’re not going to enjoy it. For some people, this might mean you want something to help hold things in place.

  • Keep your bra on or not: if you’ve got larger breasts, feel free to wear something supportive or hold your girls while you’re riding, otherwise you might hurt yourself.
  • You don’t have to do all the work: use his hands to guide you. You can also ask him to take control with you on top. He’s going to love it and it’s a great way to give yourself a break.
  • Get your hair out of the way: If you have long hair and want it out of the way, put it up in a ponytail, a bun, or something to keep strays off your neck or in your face.
  • Play with your hands: your hands can rest against the headboard or behind you. You can also grab his chest or shoulders with more or less strength. If he likes it, you can scratch him or you can touch yourself and have fun exploring your own body while giving him a show. And yes, if you want you can raise your hands in the air.
  • Show your neck: arch your back backwards, and show off your neck. If you have large breasts, flaunt them as they bounce up and down due to the motions. But most of all, when you bend backwards you give yourself a place to rest your arm for a little extra support. Grab your partner’s thigh for some extra stability.

#3: What to do when you are on the top

Now that you are feeling confident and you have a basic idea for how you want to position yourself, let’s really dive into positions and what to do. Don’t be scared to ask your man for a little help. Chances are he will love the chance to take control.

Here are two basic motions you can work with:

Grinding

The best way you can think of grinding is thinking of a lapdance, but with your partner’s penis inside you. Sit on your partner, with him inside you and move your hips forwards and back. Don’t lift your legs or bounce up and down on him.

You can experiment with leaning forwards or backwards and see what feels best for you, as everyone is different.

Stroking

Stroking is the up and down motions associated with sex. Use your legs and move up and down with his penis inside you. Focus on using your legs only and not your whole body. Once you’re comfortable with this, add in a little grinding as you need. And once you’re rocking stroking, add in a little more hip action.

#4: The positions

There are a few basic positions you can use. Once you get a hang of these, you can mix them up and try them in new places.

Man Missionary

This is what most people will think of when they think of a girl-on-top position. Face your partner and have your knees resting on the bed. Have you man lie down, or sit comfortably, and straddle him. Think of a cowgirl here.

Asian Cowgirl

If you would like to try a little bit of a variation on regular cowgirl, try Asian cowgirl. The major difference here is how you position your lower body. Instead of putting your weight on your knees, you will have your feet on the bed, squatting. For those of you who like to go fast, this is a better option for you. I love this one.

Reverse Cowgirl

Reverse cowgirl is, basically, the same as cowgirl. But instead of facing your man, you have your body turned away from him, giving him a perfect view of your booty. This is great if your man loves your backside, or if you are worried about making strange faces. It will also hit different spots for you. Just like doggy style hits are different from missionary, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl do not hit exactly the same way.

Corner Cowgirl

Have your man lie on the bed with his hips at the corner of the bed and his feet firmly planted on the ground. Straddle him as you usually would — either in regular or reverse cowgirl.

Side Straddle Cowgirl

With your man ready for cowgirl position, his legs open, turn your back to him. As you get into a reverse cowgirl position, your legs are on either side of one of his legs. Have your man bring one leg up for you to grab onto.

Sex is supposed to be fun, and when you spend your time worrying about it, that takes all the fun away. With practice, you will get better. And with these tips, you will have a lot to practice.
