How To Recover From Not Making Progress Toward Your Dreams
Knowthyself222

From time to time, it is said that a strong man or woman can have a perceived step back in their journey to fulling their dream and aspirations. As humans, sometimes we get punched by a fear, toxic belief, or a lack of confidence that hinders our progress. I call it the beast within.
The beast inside the mind
Even if I diligently work to maintain a state of constant balance and harmony, I also fall back into disequilibrium. I always tell my friends, “our soul is a perfect version and our physical body is a work in progress”. The unbalance we experience is here to bring back buried and shadowy-issues that need our attention. Those issues are inside the subconscious mind and if we do not know how to perform such shadow work or have a friend always challenging us to address those constantly, progress stops creating the vision we aspire to bring to life.
The soul is perfect and knows true divinity which has no place for fear.
The remedy I have used to get out of a temporary state of unbalance is made out of a ritual that pulls me back. It took me some time to perfect it, although it has some mechanics that I think will help others benefit to find our own ritual and pull us back from unbalanced states of mind.
How to find and confront the beast
These are the steps and practical tools I used to come out of an unbalanced state (demotivation/fear of success /internal conflicts, break up, and more).
1)Recognize the state you’re in, and pray to ask for help — Always start with praying, it does not have to be directed to any religious belief — your word will suffice). The spiritual realm is always looking over us even if we are not aware, and they will hear you.
Already acknowledging a situation resolves it at 70%, what’s remaining is linked to making a decision about it.
2) Give yourself a couple of days of rest — Stay still as possible and seek entertainment that brings good energy and joy. Use what works, but find a way to laugh during the hard times is a sign of strong mental strength. It will expedite the healing and the solution will come to you.
3) Get back into a routine — I use an app called “Proddy” which is a routine app that I really love. It notified you every morning and keeps you accountable all day. It was created by a young independent programmer that also was looking for a way to stay on track with his goals — I personally spoke with him at the early stage of testing his app, and he is very receptive to feedback — reach out if you believe some improvement can be made in the app.

4) Listen to this Abraham hick rampage audio — The one resonating with me might not be the same for you, but at least you have a starting ground for finding the version of Rampages that resonates with you. External link to the YouTube audio (To be consumed with moderation, it can become addictive).
5) Act on the first 4 steps progressively until you do not remember the state you were in — Start without delay. You can be down, but even so, do not let that low state of mind define who you are.
The mind is the servant of the body — Earl nightingale (Without a start, the reward cannot be found at the end)
How to live with the beast
It is essential that after you have done the internal and personal work toward getting back on track that you also seek feedback from internal sources. This is the approach I used that yield great results.
Give yourself a laugh for falling back into the trap of the mind — I always told myself, “it is only during the moment of the greatest disappointment that you really know who you are” Who I am? Ask yourself who you are, I am pretty sure you are strong and amazing, just remember when you were at your best and bring those feelings into the present moment. Kick out the low state of mind that is keeping you from moving.
Share your experience with someone else to see if the feeling you get is positive or negative. — What I noticed is that when you have healed from internal conflicts, trauma, fight, or break up, you are able to talk about it in an enthusiastic way and even recognize the positive aspects of the situation. Give it a shot, talk to someone close about an unfortunate situation. Have the courage to ask the person listening to you, If he or she believes that you have healed from the experience. A great and caring friend will tell you the real answer based on how they interpret the situation while listening to you.
Feelings are transferred when two or more people talk and listen to each other. If one has a good feeling it will affect the others.
It is an obvious fact, but this fact is used as an indicator to really know the state of mind of someone else.
Conflict resolution and peace with the beast
A few days ago, I was in a low state of mind and had to remind myself that I have all the tools to come out of it. I remembered the last time I was in this state of mind and how to come back out of it. By retrospecting it, I decided to put some writing behind the process. My ultimate goal sharing about this weakness of mine is that I am pretty sure you as well get in this state as well at times.
Others may not have a practical approach, but knowing that there is a solution out there makes a huge difference. Find a way to identify, understand, tame the beast, and you are on your way to creating something great for yourself and others.
Enjoy reading my experience and technique, but also create one for yourself.
We are unique but all connected to the same source, so my success is also your success, and the contribution of my experience adds more to our human consciousness and that is one among many manifestations of understanding the real meaning of the word NAMASTE.
I leave you in the love and the light of the infinite creator, go forth and find peace and balance. Namaste.
