Water is essential for our bodies and we should be drinking eight glasses a day, more if you are active or live in a hot climate. If you find it hard to drink that much water, try carrying around a water bottle with you or keeping one at your desk at work. Drink small sips throughout the day and you’ll reach your goal in no time!

Do your best to keep a tidy house, even if it means doing a little bit every day. For example, one way to do this is to make sure you do the dishes every night. - Grounding — Look around you. Can you find three things you can see? Two things you can hear? Something you can feel, like a soft blanket? The grounding method for anxiety is all about finding comfort in your environment for immediate relief when you are feeling anxious.
- Count backwards— Start from 100 and count backward by 10s. This will get your mind off the panic attack.
- Talk — Talk to someone who can understand what you are going through. Whether it’s a friend, family member, therapist, or hotline, talking to someone about what you’re going through can help.
