Amazon allows you many ways to earn money with them, from selling products to trying accessories and sponsoring. One of the best ways to earn money with them for free is with their affiliate program. They don’t require any amount of followers or likes, the only thing you have to do is have a website, blog, or YouTube channel.

What is the Amazon affiliate program?

The Amazon Affiliate program is a marketing program that allows you to advertise Amazon products and earn money with every purchase. The best thing about it is you don't need to have any product to sell, you advertise products that already exist in the Amazon market, and it’s free for website owners and bloggers to become Associates.

The way that you make an advertisement is by creating links. You can earn money in 3 different ways:

• When customers click the links and buy products from Amazon, you can earn referral fees.
• When customers click the links and buy more products (even if that product is not in your blog but they buy it because they enter to amazon via your link), you earn fees.
• When they use the free trial on one of the Amazon services such as Prime, Kindle, or Amazon music.

How to create an account and product links

To create an account, you only have to go to the Amazon affiliate website and click on the sign-up button, if you have an amazon account already, you can use it to log in to the program website. You have to add information, like your tax information, your address and your website URL, this is very important because they track the links when somebody makes a purchase, and if it is not from any of the websites that are on the list, you are not going to earn fees.

When you have the account, you can create links, ads, and banners on the link product option. A link is a simple URL that has your associate id information (they use it to track the links you share). When you choose a banner, you can customize the size and how it's going to look in your website before you you using it:

Payment process

On the home page, you can see how much money you have earned in the past month, and if you click on view report, you can see the details of every purchase.

Amazon pays you every month, and they take 4–5 days to process your payment. You can get paid in 3 different ways:

• Via deposit: You have to give them your bank information and they make you a deposit if you got a minimum of 10 dollars in fees.
• Via gift card: This option is good if you don't live in the United States or don't have any international account from the available countries that they send money. They will send you the gift card to your email and the minimum is 10 dollars.
• Via check: You have to provide them a valid address and full name for this option and the minimum is 100 dollars.
