How To Make Something Taste Like Eggs

I’ve never loved eggs. I find them gross. You couldn’t have paid me to eat hard-boiled eggs. The sulfur smell had me running.
When I first became vegan, I made a faux egg salad. I couldn't even eat it — it was too much like the real thing.
The secret ingredient?
Kala Namak, or black salt.
it’s a volcanic rock salt found in areas surrounding the Himalayas and parts of Northern India.
It contains sulfur and will give anything that eggy taste, including the vegan egg product I tried last week to make an omelet. It was pretty tasty, but I had to plug my nose when I opened the package. Stinky stuff!
