Summary

The website provides two methods for making scrambled eggs: a straightforward expert version and a more flavorful version preferred by the author, Jessica, which includes hot sauce and additional seasonings.

Abstract

The article "How To Make Scrambled Eggs" offers a comparison between a traditional expert method and the author's personal recipe, Jessica's Version. The expert version involves cooking eggs in a skillet with butter and minimal seasoning, while Jessica's version incorporates Country Crock, milk, cheese, and spices like garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Jessica emphasizes that her method, which uses a fork instead of a whisk for mixing, is superior due to its enhanced taste from the added ingredients and seasonings. Both versions include step-by-step instructions, with Jessica's approach being more detailed and personalized, including her preference for hot sauce and well-done eggs. The article reassures readers that making scrambled eggs is a simple task that's hard to mess up, providing a cooking time of 3–5 minutes and encouraging experimentation with personal tastes.

Opinions

  • Jessica believes her scrambled eggs recipe is superior to the expert version due to the addition of hot sauce, cheese, and various seasonings.
  • She expresses a preference for using a fork over a whisk, attributing this choice to her upbringing and implying that it's a practical and sufficient tool for the task.
  • The author is confident in the ease of making scrambled eggs, asserting that it's difficult to ruin them unless one makes a significant mistake like dropping them or setting them on fire.
  • Jessica acknowledges individual preferences in how well-done the eggs should be, suggesting a cooking time range rather than a precise duration.
  • The article conveys a casual and humorous tone, with Jessica describing her recipe as "extra AF" and making light of potential cooking mishaps.

You came here because you need to know how to make scrambled eggs.

Congratulations.

Pretty hard to fuck this one up. I like mine with cheese sprinkled in because I’m extra AF.

The experts cook their scrambled eggs one way so I will list those steps but I do mine differently so I will give you that option as well.

Things You Will Need:

  • Non stick Skillet
  • Stove
  • Spatula
  • Plate
  • Butter
  • Eggs

For Jessica’s Version You Will Also Need:

  • Hot sauce
  • shredded cheese
  • Country Crock
  • bowl
  • fork
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • red pepper flakes

How To Make Scrambled Eggs: The Expert Version:

  1. . Heat skillet over medium heat. Add butter.
  2. Crack two eggs onto skillet.
  3. Mix around using spatula. Add a little salt.
  4. Remove before you think eggs are done as they will continue to cook after being removed from heat.

How To Make Scrambled Eggs: Jessica’s Version

  1. . Heat skillet over medium heat. Add Country Crock butter which isn’t actually butter.
  2. Crack two or three eggs into bowl. Add two splashes of milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Add shredded cheese.
  3. Use fork to stir eggs until yolk is spread evenly throughout bowl. Yes, use a fork. Why do I use a fork instead of a whisk? Because I grew up kinda poor. We didn’t have fucking whisks. Use a fork.
  4. Pour mixture onto skillet.
  5. Mix around with the spatula (flippy turning thing). Until done.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Serve with hot sauce of your choice. I recommend either Tapatio or Texas Pete.

As you can see, my way is far superior. I forgot to say exactly how long to cook the eggs because the cooking struggle can be real if you have never had to cook.

How Long Do You Cook Scrambled Eggs?

3–5 minutes depending on how done you want them. I like mine more done but everyone has their preference.

Remember, you cannot fuck up scrambled eggs unless you drop them in the floor or set them on fire.
