How To Make Money Online When You Don’t Have Any Money To Invest

It is easier to make money online. My story will motivate you to start your side hustle.

I started my Blogging journey with zero financial investment.

I have been admitted into a college and very little pocket money to survive on a weekly basis. Most of the time I have to skip one meal to manage my weekly financials but I was lucky that I have two things; my brother’s laptop and a free Internet connection from the College hostels.

I started Blogging on Blogger.com with almost zero investment, you can literally create your own website right now on this website. It was created by the founder of the Medium, Ev Williams, later bought by Google. I have made over $1000 from this free Blogspot blog with just writing about things I know during the course of my engineering.

When I have enough money to invest in buying a domain name and hosting, I invested into that already existing blog and convert that Blogspot blog into a new brand with its own domain name and hosting. I was expecting an increase in the revenue as Self-hosted blogs rank really well in search engines. And, it didn’t disappoint me.

This was the time 2017 when I know about a platform known as “Quora” whenever I search something on Google, it will be this site that comes out on every instant. I thought i should give it a try and later on come out as addict of this website. Even though i didn’t make any money on Quora but one good thing out of this is that i come to know about another company made by EV Williams, yes i am talking about Medium.

I joined Medium somewhere in March 2019. In the first 9 months on Medium, I wasn’t in the Medium Partner Program and literally didn’t made a single cent while writing on Medium. It was 1st of January 2020, that I have decided to give Medium Partner program a chance and started this year with a new goal.

What you can learn from this story?

• You can earn money online even if you have little resources available.
• You need to be consistent.
• Try experimenting on every platform, even if you are not getting monetary benefits.

Money Without Investment — is this even possible?

Yes, it is possible. You read my story and you can read countless other stories. It is possible and very much real.

1. YouTube: You literally don’t need any investment. I started my YouTube channel with just using my mobile camera. The most important thing in this world isn’t the quality of the camera but the words you speak in front of that camera. Do you know? Without investing a single penny, I have made over $140 dollars from this channel and with over 3.1K subscribers.
2. Freelancing: My Uncle lost his Job as a professor in Mathematics and I suggest him to try Freelancing platforms, after 2-months of teaching numerous students, he is now making over $1.5K a month in net as a freelance teacher. On my recommendation, he even Joins Medium and two of his stories getting curated in the Math topic. Self evaluates and find a skill that you are best at and start selling it online. It literally requires no investment at all.
3. Writing: You can join Medium and start writing, it is free. Even I have made over $500 in June writing on Medium. When we are living in a world where you are getting paid for the content you create, this isn’t truly amazing. My mother still doesn’t believe it. When I made over $1.5K in a single month from my blog, my father thinks that this is some kind of joke. He only believes it when he sees it. You can learn more about make money writing on Medium? 4. Affiliate marketing: Joining an affiliate marketing program is free and you can promote your affiliate products through a variety of ways even though in your Medium stories.
5. As an Instagram influencer: Post about a single niche, get 10,000 Instagram followers and you are an influencer. Companies will approach you to promote their products. Easy as it sounds but you had to be consistent and put content that most people resonate with.

Some friends of mine looking into my Blogging success and the amount of money I am made from Blogging want to be a blogger too. I was happy that I will find people who could be like-minded and teach them everything I know about Blogging.

I have spent hours building & designing websites for them, and they will be very excited about their new project. But, reality hit them hard. They will lose their motivation after a week or two when they find that no one is reading their content. It all requires hard work and dedication. You will fail and learn something and start doing the same thing over and over. The process is difficult but once you learn and start enjoying this process, you will want to do it more and more.

One 20 or more people I have taught blogging and digital marketing, only 2 of them became what I am proud of teaching them what i know about.

I am still a student. I am still learning about new things and this is what excites me every day.
