How to Make A Thanksgiving Side Dish In Five Minutes
And everyone will LOVE it!

I think this recipe — or a variation of it — has been around forever. But, I was just introduced to it two years ago.
I am guessing it has been a staple at many a Thanksgiving table because once I tried it, I had to tell everyone about it. But, as soon as I did, half the people said, “Really, I’ve been making that for years!”
Regardless, it was new to me and only half the people said they had heard of it. So, I figured I would share it as it may be new to half my readers.
The recipe I am referring to is the Five-Ingredient Corn Casserole. I first learned about it from my hairdresser. She is an amazing cook and many of her relatives are in the restaurant business. So whenever she gives me a recipe, I know it will be a good one.
A couple of years ago, around Thanksgiving time, she was cutting my hair and we were trading recipes as we always do. I was looking for an easy side dish and she immediately suggested the corn casserole. She loved this dish because not only did it take just five minutes to make, but, everyone went crazy over it.
When she told me how to make it, I almost laughed. You can barely call it a “recipe,” since you pretty much dump everything into a bowl, mix it together and pour it into a pan to bake. I knew this was something I needed to make for Thanksgiving. Who wouldn’t want a quick throw-together dish that everyone loved?
Again, there are many variations of this recipe on the Internet but here is the one I use:
The comments suggest you can add two eggs if you like, but I have tried it both ways and prefer it without. When you add the eggs, it becomes more cake-like. Without them, it has more of a pudding consistency, which is how I like it.
There are also ingredients you can add-in, however, I have never tried them because I think it is great just the way it is.
So, if you are planning your menu and need another quick, delicious side to round out your Thanksgiving meal, I highly suggest giving this one a try!
