How to Make $1 a Day on Medium
Let’s start with the basics — It is simple but not easy.

Have you ever read success stories about blogging?
I know some of you have done it. You later wonder how this person came by their achievement.
I have ignored the answer in the past.
Tom Kuegler mentioned it before. It’s simple, yet also hard:
- live first, write after.
- focus on your headline.
Live first, write after.
Live your life, then sit down to write.
You will have stories. Your experiences are unique; most advice is cliche. When you can’t live a life of travel or adventure, choose to scroll. Spread the stories of others.
But the truth is, we’ve all lived. Some of us do it online. So, I ask you, what was the last memorable thing you did on the internet?
- Did you create a website?
- Start a business?
- Mess around with TikTok and discover a new way to get found?
- Did your last Google search yield an interesting research article?
- Do you know a free time-saving website?
Focus on your headline.
This platform is helping you.
Some of us, I’m guilty of this too. We save the juicy details for the subheading. Since the layout changed, the subheading isn’t showing on the main page.
Headlines are the reason people click. There’s a headline on here worth $19,000. Your subtitle might be different. Have numbers or a well-known person’s name; if so, make it your headliner instead.
Thanks for reading!
