How to Make $100 Per Day By Ignoring Your Self Doubt
Your inner critic is a jerk keeping you from being a successful online creator.

The idea of making money online seems dreamy. But when imposter syndrome and jealous thoughts occur, you feel like giving up.
After that, side hustles feel like a scam. Yet, they aren’t.
Here are new internet entrepreneurship routes to try before giving up.
Collaboration
Every day we miss out on money by doing it alone.
As a comfort, we tell ourselves we never had the skill, anyway. Or could not afford the course to learn said expertise.
But making money is about sharing. Mr. Beast translates all his videos into other languages to reach a broader audience. He is not afraid to work with bilingual speakers.
A person selling complementary offers is not your competitor. If you design websites and someone is good at copywriting, work with them. And charge more for a full-package service.
Charging more means you get to earn more. Keep customers long-term (which protects 80% of your income). Plus, you’ll get seen as a one-stop shop for people who hate working with several strangers.
Gather the help of people who complement your work well. Build a team.
E-knowledge
Gumroad is having a moment.
Like Canva, it is getting an unfair number of backlinks and exposure for free. I like the platform many people do, too. But it is so misunderstood.
People run to Gumroad for security. If you set a price, it stays that way. A Teachable or Udemy site-wide sale will not dip into your earning plans. It is less likely your e-book gets pirated off Kindle and shared for free on the internet.
But Gumroad works for people who market their products to a supportive community.
If you don’t have an audience, choose a public market space. You stand a better chance if you place your fantastic e-resource on a well-visited site.
Face your fears
I fear video.
Will I stutter? Will people critique the way I look? But people love humans.
A con artist can win marketing games. Why? Because the con allows people to associate a face with a product or service.
Buyers no longer think I’m buying a book. They now believe I’m supporting this creator. When the creator’s name comes up in conversation, the buyer can say, “I have a copy of her book!” This situation is exciting for consumers.
If you don’t want to show your face, show your screen. Your hands. Any body part works.
We get annoyed when websites ask us to prove our humanity. But humans also have this blocker on their emotions when online.
People make yacht money showing up on TikTok. How can you do the same? Show what you are selling. Skip the flat lay. Get content as models use your product or service. Here is the essential part: add a call to action.
Paid brain-picking
No one wants their brain-picked for free.
Yet, most people don’t have a website. Or a sure way to collect money from interested buyers. They were in a pickle until Calendly existed.
Calendly is a free online appointment scheduling software.
The integrations of note on the app are Loom, Zoom, Stripe, and PayPal. The free package excludes most of the best software cross-overs.
But no excuses. With this platform, you can allow people to set appointments to speak with you. And not look shady when you send your link for payment. When you receive the funds, arrange your meeting on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Loom, or Google Meet.
Upgraded 1–1 experiences
Most creators run from one-on-one services.
But it is because they set it up like they’re still working a 9–5 job:
- Low paying clients
- Afraid to issue refunds
- No terms of use disclaimers
- Offer unlimited revisions
- Don’t state that success is the client’s responsibility
- Focus on one element of a service
- Make unnecessary guarantees about satisfaction
- Setting availability for every hour of the day
- Work with people who are unclear about their needs
- Let clients off-load all the work onto them
- No long-term upsells to keep making money
Short-term one-on-one services are the worst. The clients want quantity in the beginning. Then, in the end. This client hopes for the results only quality can provide.
Creators who make money from one-on-one packages create complete services. These entrepreneurs don’t make only logos. They create a brand’s visual identity. These creators don’t only write articles; they create backlinks and SEO for blogs to get ranked on Google.
