Part 1

The holidays are right around the corner, and I’m talking about how to make $1,000 by Christmas!

Why?

The holidays are an expensive time of year.

From holiday parties to buying gifts for others, going out to eat more, cooking more at home, etc. It’s just a time of year when people spend more.

It can feel pretty disheartening for folks who would like to partake but just can’t afford it.

But there are ways to make $1,000 by Christmas so you have extra money in your pocket to spend during the season.

How to make $1,000 by Christmas?

Ok, let’s get into it.

What can you do? What does it involve? Are startup costs required? Can you make more than $1,000 by Christmas?

Let’s go.

High-ticket digital marketing (AKA affiliate marketing) X TikTok

Ok, hear me out here.

You’re going to blend high-ticket digital marketing with TikTok.

High-ticket digital marketing or affiliate marketing is about promoting high-ticket affiliate offers to an audience. When your viewers buy, you earn a commission.

For example, you promote a massage chair for $3,000 with a 10% commission. When your promotion efforts result in a sale (the customer uses your affiliate link to buy), you earn $300.

So, sell 6 massage chairs for the month and make $1,800! ($300 commission X 6 chairs)

For example, sell 6 massage chairs with $300 commission each and make $1,800!

I love high-ticket digital marketing because you exert the same amount of effort as traditional affiliate marketing but can make so much more!

This is a side hustle I personally do.

It makes me a full-time income passively on a part-time kinda schedule! And, I love it!

I was promoting low-ticket, low-paying offers making me $3 to $10 each and would get hundreds of conversions a month. Switching up the kinds of products I promoted amplified my income big time!

Compare 100 conversions at $3 each, or $300 vs. 100 conversions at $300 each, or $30,000.

No comparison, really, right?

Anyway, this is how it works…

How it works: Digital marketing + TikTok

To summarize, this is what you’ll be doing.

You’ll refer one high-ticket offer, using TikTok as your traffic source.

Your niche will be relevant to that offer and you’ll be highly focused on that niche only for this TikTok account.

• No budget needed
• Easy to start
• 1–2 hours a week required

Create TikTok videos to attract your audience to your landing page where you’ll collect their email address. With their email address, you’ll send them emails about the high-ticket affiliate offer.

Getting started

First, you’re going to get set up on the digital marketing side.

• Choose a niche
• Pick a high-ticket product to promote and identify your audience
• Apply to the affiliate program and get approved
• Get your affiliate links
• Create your landing page

Choosing a niche

Your niche or topic is very important. This is what you’re building your entire business around.

Examples of niches:

• Gardening
• Fashion
• Food
• Travel

Choosing a high-ticket affiliate offer

After identifying your niche, you can start thinking about affiliate offers.

Think about your passions and interests.

Then, consider a problem you could solve around your passion and interest. Your affiliate product is going to be the solution to that problem.

For example, if you choose the blogging niche, a problem bloggers may have is starting to grow an email list from scratch.

Problem? Bloggers need to know how to build an email list.

Solutions? A course about starting email list building for beginners or an email marketing software subscription or another paid resource around email marketing and list building.

An easy way to find high-ticket affiliate offers is to join an affiliate network. Once you join an affiliate network, most of them have their affiliate offers grouped into categories, according to niche.

Browse your niche category to check out the various offers available.

Create your landing page

Your landing page is a one-page webpage you’ll build (super easy, I’ll show you) to capture email addresses for the email list you’ll build in this process.

The idea is to attract people using TikTok.

They’ll click your link in bio which will lead them to your landing page and they sign up to your email list.

Through email marketing, you’ll have a chance to sell your affiliate product to them.

How do you set up a landing page?

There are landing page builders that you can use.

It’s not as hard as you might think. There are templates where you can plug in your info, change up the design if you wish, and do other light edits to make it truly your own.

Here’s an example of a landing page I built for my free digital marketing ebook.

I use Systeme for that (they have free and paid plans). There’s also Clickfunnels and Builderall, among other landing page builders you can try.

How do you do email marketing?

It’s just about sending emails to your email list.

You’ll write an email about your audience’s problem and share your affiliate offer as the solution.

To automate this, I recommend you set up an automation in your email marketing software where new email subscribers will be automatically entered into an auto-sequence of X number of emails that will be sent to them on a schedule:

• Email 1 on day 1
• Email 2 on day 3
• Email 3 on 2 days after email 2
• Etc.

I use Systeme for this.

Systeme offers the landing page, email marketing and automation sequences, webinars, courses, blogging, the whole shebang. I’d recommend you check them out.

Now, that you’re set with digital marketing, onto TikTok.

How does TikTok work for promotion?

It’s easy.

You’ll create TikTok videos about your niche, marketing to your audience.

You’ll want to create videos that address the problem your audience has then, point them to sign up to your email list for the solution.

A great way to attract people to sign up to your email list is to give something away for free like:

• A cheat sheet
• An ebook
• A spreadsheet

I’d recommend this but, it’s not required. It does make it easier to grow your email list.

That something you give away for free is called a lead magnet.

If you want to create a lead magnet, a super simple way to do that is with Canva. I have a paid Canva account but, there’s a free account option as well.

Go to Canva and search for the lead magnet template you’re looking for…

Choose a template, edit it to make it your own, download it and you’ve got your email lead magnet!

Join TikTok for free, set up your account, and start making videos! You don’t even have to show your face!

TL;DR

We just went over starting a digital marketing TikTok business to make $1,000 by Christmas.

There are several steps in this process but, if you do this, you have the potential to make FAR MORE than $1,000!

I’ve seen creators follow this strategy and make $120K in their first 6 months, $40K in their first 2 months, it’s wild!
