How To Let Go And Let The Universe Take Over

The Universe follows its own timeline, not yours.

We all have goals, dreams and ambitions, and some of those goals are pretty specific. We have that specific car we have our eye on, we may have a specific house we drive past every day and want for ourselves, we have a dream destination that we long to travel to.

It’s natural and it’s good to have these dreams. But there is a certain danger is getting too specific with what you want.

When we insist on that specific car, we have to rely on factors that we can’t control: like the price of the car, or other people selling that car. What if we can’t afford that specific car? What if it’s not a good fit for your family? What if insurance costs too much for you?

You may get that car, but you may regret it.

By insisting on that car, you’re blocking the magic of the Universe. You’re blocking the Universe’s ability to say “What about this other car, which has wings, runs on air, and is being sold by your neighbour down the street at half the price of that other car?”

The Universe sees every single possibility that exists for what you want. As long as what you want is an energetic vibration. In this case the feeling of freedom, the feeling of pride, the feeling of satisfaction.

Can you see every single possibility that exists for what you want? I certainly can’t.

When we insist on our specific goals, we block this magic. We block something even better. Maybe the Universe will deliver that car you’ve got your eye on, but more often than not, it will deliver something even bigger and better.

You can insist on what you want. Just be prepared for it to be a real headache. Be prepared to have to wait on other people. Be prepared to be disappointed if that car never materializes.

That’s the other danger in being too specific. Disappointment. That’s not a vibration you want to send out to the Universe….unless you want to experience even more disappointment.

Or you can get general, and put your faith in the Universe. Ask for what you want, but be sure to add “This or something better.” That statement is a game-changer. It changes everything and puts the Universal wheels in motion.

Instead of getting specific about the material things you want, start getting specific about the feelings those material things will bring you.

If you want a specific house, start feeling what owning a nice new house would make you feel: Proud, safe, secure, relaxed, easy, blessed, free, abundant….there are loads of emotions to focus on. Do that. Spend your time imagining the feeling, not the thing.

And let the Universe work it’s magic. “This or something better.”
