How to Launch an Ebook in Just 4 Hours?
Writing an ebook doesn’t have to be complicated. It is we who make it complicated 🤔
The most common mistakes while creating digital products:
- Spending too much time creating the perfect structure
- Looking for modern templates
- Focusing on beautiful design
- Using advanced words to sound like an expert
We don’t deliver because we tend to overcomplicate things. However, instead of trying to build the perfect product, choose simplicity.
With a little preparation, you can even speed up the process.
On my X account, I talk a lot about setting goals and productivity. I reuse this content to create a digital product.
You can use this idea for any product. Just look at the analytics of your social media and Medium stories. Take a look at the most engaging content. Now you have a good topic for your next ebook.
It’s a pure win-win!
Here is how I published my latest product — a short ebook on how to achieve all your goals in 2024 (It is 100% FREE!)👇
- Collect 3–5 pieces of content on a given topic (15 min)
2. Open Google Docs and write:
- Draft title
- Headlines
- Introduction
- Summary
In total, you have 3–5 paragraphs (15 min)
3. Copy and paste the posts, rewrite the content, and fill in the paragraphs (2 hours)
4. Review the text, check grammar errors, and correct the structure. You can use apps such as Grammarly and Hemingway (30 min)
5. Create graphics: for ebook content (optional), Gumroad thumbnail, and banner (30 min)
6. Export pdf file, upload to Gumroad, write a product description (you can reuse from the introduction and summary of the ebook), and publish it (30 min)
With this approach, it will go much faster than trying to release the perfect product from end to end.
Thanks for reading!
