Do you think that you can find a way to create the ideal conditions to get a death without worries and suffering when you get older? Many people who suffer from terminal cancer go through chemotherapeutic processes that leave them physically exhausted, cause them pain, and even stop them from falling asleep properly.

Many processes can occur in the last moments of a person’s life, so if you think you are not prepared to face that loss, try to stay in a safe zone that allows others to listen to you and even make them laugh with you. You can assume that nothing has happened. Although it is extremely difficult, you must be brave.

Enjoying your time with them and support them until the end. Only a few people know how to handle such situations; many break into tears, even collapse and may get shocked.

The Best Ways To Have A Better Death

So I will help you handle this with some tips.

  1. Remember all the good things a person has done. Help them understand all the positive impact they had on their relatives, on you, and that everything will be fine. Remind that person how much you love him or her and tell them about the people who have loved them. Hold conversations with light jokes that relieve the tension to an extent.
  2. Ask the person who they want to be accompanied with. Some prefer loneliness, but others prefer to be as close to family as possible. Remember that this is their decision and that it must be respected.
  3. Satisfy any craving they may have in their current condition; understand that there are differences between a good death and an appropriate death. Some people want to live long enough to see the fulfillment of a family member’s goal or see the end of something they have been following for a while. So, try to give them any kind of food they ask for, you can surely get a smile, and these will become beautiful memories later.
  4. To understand death you can do nothing but accept it, so don’t let it affect you beyond what it should. Do not misunderstand me but you are allowed to cry, feel bad, and suffer if you wish, but do not suffocate thinking about something that cannot be reversed. Show that you will be fine, and at the same time, pretend that you care.
  5. Protect them from procedures that can cause pain and suffering if you know it will not happen. Many times we have the selfish desire to save their lives at any cost, but we don’t know how much that person will suffer in the middle of this process. Help the person avoid the suffering, please.
  6. Allow them to solve their interpersonal conflicts with the reconciliations of their loved ones. It will facilitate them and allow them to find the peace they need. This type of satisfaction will remain with you for a lifetime.

Remember That They Are Still Alive

Please avoid talking about them as if they were gone. A good death is accompanied by an intimate space in which the person can feel protected and is taken care of. Maintaining control and calm is paramount, I mean you can show him or her your feelings, but don’t let them get over you. Avoid tension, remember to hug them a lot and tell them all the beautiful things you feel.

Always do things thinking optimistically and accept the natural cycle of life, enjoy every moment next to them. This will allow you to feel better about yourself and let you help others feel good.
