The article discusses strategies for managing life changes with a positive mindset, emphasizing the importance of embracing change as an opportunity for growth and self-awareness.

Abstract

The article "How to Handle Change" addresses the challenges of coping with change in a world marked by division and upheaval, particularly in light of recent global events. It encourages readers to send love and light to troubled areas, such as Ukraine, and to focus on the positive amidst negativity. The author suggests that change is inevitable and that resisting it only leads to stress. Instead, the article recommends expecting change, recognizing one's reactions to it, embracing it as a chance for improvement, learning from it, and ultimately welcoming it as a catalyst for personal growth. The author cites an article from attorneyatwork.com, which provides practical advice for attorneys—a profession not typically associated with flexibility—on how to adapt to change. The piece concludes with affirmations for peace and trust in one's journey, and invites readers to take a self-awareness quiz, follow the author's social media profiles, and read the work of other writers in the community.

Just when we thought the last two years were crazy enough…Now we see more division in our world. First off, I hope you will join me in sending Love and Light to Ukraine — and to our whole world…

And look for the positives in all the negatives in our current view. I am hearing from those in the spiritual community that all that is happening — the ugly, the fear, the division is being brought up to the surface to be released as we ultimately over time come together and unite.

You may not agree, but I choose to believe.

No one knows for sure — and we will eventually find out. I’d rather bring the energy of Love into our world as much as I can instead of the continued fear.

This may sound hippy dippy or woo-woo, but there is science backing this. We can’t change our world and create better using the same energy that has created what we currently have.

And what we have is a lot of shifts happening. Feels like a lot of shit happening as well. It is said that the problem with change is the belief that what’s happening shouldn’t be. That things will remain the same — we know that it won’t and they don’t.

Another one of our readers is going through shifts in her life and looking to navigate through this time.

Can you relate?

How can we handle changes — the shifts that are happening in our life with less stress? I found an article from attorneyatwork com to bring in some light:

1. Expect it — Whether you try to stop change or create change — change will happen. Sometimes it shifts for the better and other times not. Remember that everything in life is a phase. Expect change without attaching stress to it. No matter what the change is, you will then be able to handle it. You have a lifetime of evidence that proves it.

2. Recognize it — Pay attention to your negative reaction to certain situations — could it be just the mere fact that things are changing that causes you to react? Regardless of a positive or negative change, are you just looking to hold on to the way things were?

3. Embrace it — Will the change make things better in the long run even though you must work through the change itself? Look at the facts of the change. If it’s a negative, start working on how to make it as good as it can be. Find the silver linings. Work with and not against it — that only makes things worse. Accept that some changes are inevitable and no matter what you do, change is happening.

4. Learn from it. — Look at the change as an opportunity to grow. This viewpoint allows you to become more accepting of change.

5. Welcome it — This can be a really hard one. This said, failure to welcome change ultimately causes stress, which makes the change itself and the handling and resolution much more difficult. Reframe your thoughts about change to view it as an opportunity to be creative, to help someone, to problem solve — and to grow.

Usually when I do research, I look for articles, webinars and information from self help sources. Notice this one is by an attorney — to help other attorneys. A profession that might be considered more black and white in thinking expands into the grey. How awesome!

I want to share a couple of quotes with you. I have them written out on a post it on my cabinets. Just a reminder each time I see them that the Universe has my back — and it has yours as well:
