SELF IMPROVEMENT

Getting Unstuck is as Easy as Writing One Bad Simile

Solve procrastination by making your brain work for you

Image, handwriting, and the ugly desk are all the author’s.

I’ll be honest. I’ve been procrastinating today.

I didn’t want to write this post.

For me, I prefer editing to writing. Filling a blank page makes me shudder.

As a career coach, my intent in writing this post was to help people who are stuck in their careers.

So I read lots of articles and posts. You know — for “research.”

But finally, I got unstuck. How?

I remembered that the brain likes to solve problems.

Give it a prompt, and it will go to work.

Like Michael Scott does in The Office.

One way to do this is to write the problem down in the form of a question.

Like this: “How do I get unstuck?”

The answer became this cute post.

What powerful questions can you come up with that will move you forward?

Need help with your career (or life)?

I’m a life coach who helps professionals stuck in their careers (& life) find direction and create more purposeful lives that bring them more WHEEEE!
