What happens after my warmup and before training

I’m not sleeping, I’m getting ready for my competition fight. Photo by the author

I breathe in and I feel the power. I breathe out and it fills my whole body. Again and again. There are no arms, legs or muscle groups. The body is one loaded spring. My body is ready.

I’m going to jump into ice-cold water. I feel the fire running down my blood. I have a volcano inside, a nuclear reactor. No motivation tricks can beat that energy. I look like an iceberg with a volcano inside. My mind is ready.

I breathe in and feel the rage coming. My ancestors were Vikings and Mongols. They never surrendered to any invaders. They always fought. They awake in my soul and support me. I have an army right inside me and I’m never alone. My spirit is ready.

I’m a fighter. I’m a warrior. Today I’m fighting with my worst enemy. My best training partner. I love him and I hate him. He’s the hardest person to win over. I can see his face in the mirror every day.

I’m ready to start my training. OSS!
