How to Get Rid of Rage During Video Games?
Sharing my personal experience. If you too like to play video games and have this rage or anger problem then check this one.

Breaking controllers or keyboard or mouse showing that you are not going okay with that video game. Your anger stops your mind to think about the damage you are going to do. Later a few minutes, you realize what damage you have done? and you can’t fix that back.
This is the common problem these days in streamers and casual players of battler royale and other gamers. They got angry and through their controls or bang their keyboard when they lose their game. This thing is widely spread in the past few years as many games introduced to mobile phones. The users get so much committed to the game that they lose their minds after defeated in-game.
They didn’t realize that it is just a virtual world created to relax minds and enjoy. But things are going on the wrong track and many streamers lost their minds live in front of their viewers. I don’t understand what kind of enjoy the viewers found in this breaking things, losing mind.
I got this raging problem a few months earlier. I got addicted to battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG. I was playing like straight 4–5 hours on a regular basis. These games are popular and you also heard these two-game names.
I not a streamer but I started to play these games to enjoy and fun. But I don’t exactly remember when I got into these games so much that I got so much angry and shouted on my teammate (friend) after my character died in-game. after a couple of minutes, I realized the things that I said to him? I feel so much guilt. I said sorry to him but the damage was already done.
After a month, things are going back on track. I reduce my game time now about 1–3 hours only per day if I got time to play. otherwise, no game. I always have in my mind that it just a game. This thing helps me a lot to figure out this rage thing.
That’s not it. Here are other things too which helped me to get over:
- Give a break to that particular game that frustrated you. I know that you don’t want to hear this thing but you have to do to prevent yourself from major breakdown. I am sure that your loved ones don’t want to see you in that phase.
- Always have that in your mind that it just enjoy not too much involvement. Your involvement of senses in-game is the real reason for your rage. Or stick a quote on your side related to thing might help you keep out from rage.
- You should try some less violent games if the blood and fighting sequences making you angry. or switch to other games might give some relief to your mind and feelings.
If you are a streamer or regular gamer then you should give some time for yourself and your family. Go for a walk for at least 20–40 minutes make you mentally stronger. I prefer the morning time for a walk. the fresh air of morning fills you with confidence and positivity. A shine will remain on your face the whole day.
