Summary

The website content discusses the importance of aligning one's vision and thoughts with their dreams to overcome life's challenges and co-create their desired reality, inspired by a quote from Oscar Wilde.

Abstract

The article titled "One Sure Way to Get Out of the Gutter" emphasizes a transformative approach to life by shifting one's perception to focus on aspirations rather than circumstances. It references a quote attributed to Oscar Wilde, popularized by James Patterson and later by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, which suggests that while we may all find ourselves in difficult situations ("the gutter"), our ability to envision a better future ("looking at the stars") is a powerful catalyst for change. The text delves into the concept of co-creation, which involves harnessing spiritual energy and aligning it with one's dreams to manifest desires into reality. It asserts that this alignment can transcend life's obstacles, including adverse circumstances, financial limitations, and negative influences. The author, Selma, encourages readers to embrace affirmations and a positive mindset to bridge the gap between dreams and reality, drawing on the wisdom of Dr. Dyer and the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

A purposeful way of aligning our thinking with our dreams

“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.”

I came across this quote in one of Author James Patterson’s novels. Liking the way it sounded coming off my lips and liking, too, the image the words conjured, I immediately made a note of it to myself and labeled it as one of Patterson’s greatest words. Recently, in one of Dr.Wayne W. Dyer’s books, I came across the exact words again.

Dr. Wayne informed me that those words came directly from the Irish poet, author, and playwright, Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde and here is what the great American philosopher, self-help author, and motivational speaker thought of those words:

“It’s a perfect example of how to align vision and thoughts so the two are balanced with what you sense you’re here to be; it’s the perfect mindset to cultivate the energy to match the dream.” — Dr. W. Dyer

Whatever that ‘dream’ or ‘calling’ may be? Yes, whatever that may be.

life circumstances, not an impediment.

financial status doesn’t matter.

the presence of naysayers, not a hindrance.

Whatever that ‘dream’ or ‘calling’ may be!

It is not a secret and we don’t need to wait for an invitation to participate. In balancing the vision with the thought we begin to co-create our lives.

What is that and how it works

Co-creation:

-involves using the energy from the invisible field of Spirit.

-involves balancing our in-the-world dreams with the in-the-spirit-energy of creation.

-it requires that we ascribe power to that energy.

-it requires that we claim the energy that we undoubtedly believe exists.

Why this works

-we cannot give rise to ‘something’ if we contemplate the impossibility of that ‘something’ coming true.

Being in the gutter is synonymous to life circumstances, financial status, the gaggle of naysayers. We might very well be there now. But listen here my friends, surrendering to the fact that we are there will keep us there — in the gutter. Listen to this though, by looking up at the stars, that which is outside that gutter, we are rejecting the magnetic pull of the gutter and reaching out to that — in this case, the stars — that affirm to us that there is more than gutter over our heads. And what’s more, that we are deserving of the Source of all creation — Spirit.

I know it. I desire it. It’s on its way. Nothing can stop it. These are the paramount affirmations that will bring dreams and thoughts to align.

“And just like that, you access creativity by attracting all that you need with your thoughts.” — Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

If you can dream it, you can achieve it.

…but only if you align your inner creative energy, aka, your thoughts, to match up with your desires.

We’ve all heard about it, read about it somewhere before, the aligned words spoken by the man we know as Jesus of Nazareth. He said it best of all.

“Believe that you shall receive and you shall receive.” — Jesus

One more time,

…but only if you align your inner creative energy, aka, your thoughts, to match up with your desires.

THANK YOU FOR READING. I HOPE THIS EXPLANATION HELPED. LET’S ALL GET OUT OF THE GUTTER. I Wish You Miracles, Selma.
