Here are 3 step by step tips to gain more followers on Medium. scroll down!

I started writing on Medium in May 2021. I had no followers and there were no readers. Today, in September 2021, I have over 300 followers and readers. I will tell you how it came to be

I’m going to let you in on a secret: It’s time to stop wasting time and start getting results.

No more sitting around waiting for things to happen.

No more wishing you had more followers or readers.

Step one: Stop thinking of yourself as a passive observer, receiving everything from the world but never giving anything back in return. And start realizing that every single interaction is an opportunity for achievement and fulfillment- and nothing is holding you back but your attitude!

I like to read and draw conclusions. I write my thoughts as comments when I read what other people think. I read and think about the thoughts of authors. There are so many great writers in Medium. I follow many of them because I like their style so much. Dialogue with the author of the article gives me a lot of new ideas and is an opportunity to meet new friends. I recommend commenting on articles so you can learn from a new perspective and expand your knowledge. You will also find great new authors to follow.

Step two: You want to be great. You want to be the best. But you don’t know how to get there. I am interested in machine learning. While reading the best articles, I came across the publication MLearning.ai. The publication allowed me to reach out to great data scientists, thank you for that. It’s the best way to keep up with the latest developments in AI. Many of my followers are data scientists. My following expanded over time because of the sharing of my articles on MLearning.ai. I recommend publishing articles, not just to gain new followers.

Step three: Grow your followers with reach. I recommend that you start by reaching out to people interested in what you write about. If your article is good, they will help share it with others. I love to applaud every article I read, it gives me a lot of pleasure. I know it’s important to me and to everyone who writes. Every applause is a beautiful gift to the writer. It encourages them to write more. However, not everyone applauds for publications, and the author does not necessarily see these tokens of appreciation. I recommend you follow my example and clap for your favorite articles

I am fortunate to have met wonderful people who were willing to share their thoughts with me. There is no substitute for that feeling. So I encourage you to comment, post, and clap. It’s the most fun and makes me feel like I belong to the great Medium community.

300 follows in 3 months, not bad. But it’s not real 300 followers. Followers are imaginary, they don’t mean anything to Medium, they are just numbers. It’s the readers who do everything for the writer, they love you and follow you because of what you have done or have written. You have to prove why you deserve your reader’s time!
