How To Get ChatGPT-4 FOR FREE (and Save $20 per month!)

ChatGPT-4 has arrived, and it provides more advanced reasoning capabilities than ever compared to ChatGPT-3.5.

GPT-4 is 40% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5. It is also more collaborative and creative, can accept images as inputs, and is capable of handling over 25,000 words of text to produce longer-form content.

Sounds great, right!

What’s the catch?

Well, you can currently only use ChatGPT-4 with a ChatGPT Plus subscription.

It comes with many perks, such as:

• being available when demand is high
• faster response speed
• priority access to new features

But there is also a cost of USD$20 per month.

I have a ChatGPT Plus subscription and believe it is 100% worth the money.

But, what if you can access ChatGPT-4 for free instead?

Well, you’re in luck. We’ve got you covered with this hack!

The way to do so is to go to chat.forefront.ai

You’ll then need to create an account or sign in with Google.

Then, after you log in, you’ll see the following screen

Notice that it says Model: GPT-3.5

Well, click the drop-down box, and you can then change it to GPT-4

And, like magic, you now have access to GPT-4 without having to pay a $20 per month subscription!

Then, you’ll need to choose a persona from the list

Click on one, and then you can start to chat

Notice that it says GPT-4!

While chatting with personas such as Wonder Woman, Super Mario, John Lennon, James Bond, or Taylor Swift may be a novelty, what if you want to ask serious questions?

Well, you can click ‘Create persona’ to make your own.

Give your persona a name

It will then take about 30 seconds while Forefront generates a persona for you.

Be careful what you name it.

If you call it ‘Chat’ or ‘ChatGPT’ or ‘ChatGPT-4’ etc., there will be an alert that says ‘Content violates community guidelines’, and it will seem like it is still generating the persona even after minutes, but nothing is happening.

I made this mistake at first, but then just called it ‘New Persona’, and it then generated the persona in about 30 seconds.

You then just need to select the persona you created

You can do so from the ‘Persona’ drop-down menu

Choose your new persona

Then type your message at the bottom in the ‘Message’ field.

Helpful Assistant

You’ll notice there is a ‘HelpfulAssistant’ persona, but when I tried using it, with both ChatGPT-3.5 and ChatGPT-4, each time it just had a blank response. I’m not sure if there is a bug, or it was just down when I was testing it.

Because of this, that’s why I’d recommend creating a new persona if you don’t want to use any of the existing character ones.

Limitations

You should be aware that there is a rate limit for GPT-4 of 5 messages every 3 hours.

However, even the paid ChatGPT Plus plan has a cap of 25 messages every 3 hours for GPT-4.
