How to enjoy The Flutter Experience, mentally, physically, and psychologically!
After I received a text from an friend asking if I wanted to attend the Flutter Experience to celebrate her birthday, I confirmed we would join her. Never heard of it, but wanted to share in her birthday celebration.
So we checked it out on line and discovered that it would be a fun thing to do. We found out that it was a playful interactive art experience created by leading contemporary artists who have shown at museums like the MoMA, the Whitney, and the Guggenheim. This experience was for all ages to participate, experience, interact and share in a fun and welcoming environment.
We were told that it was a 900 square foot space that was divided into 15 rooms where each featured a unique immersive sensory journey that included mesmerizing videos, virtual reality, projection mapping, climbable furniture and even larger than life-sized chimes you could play. The facility was only one and half years old and was located near the Hollywood, California area in the Wilshire District.
There designs and layout had fostered an atmosphere where we could engage with and be inspired by art. This facility was successful in promoting mental-wellness and healing. Their art had shown to have a positive effect on our entire group. Everyone seemed relaxed and carefree.
We went as a group and was comprised of all ages with the youngest being five years old. Every room had it’s own personality that touched each one of our personality. All made us laugh, play, share and just get in touch with not only our creative minds but that child within each.
We explored every room collectively and individually. Every room would completely remove any remnants of the prior room, for each was so powerfully creative.
From the videos, to the artwork, to the usage of sound, videos and props, all provided an experience like none other. From the youngest to the eldest, each had an individual experience per room and then a collective experience as a group per room.
Below are some photos to convey the essence of each room and how we employed our senses having fun and being channeled in some positive manner. Each picture below depicted a separate experience in each room. While every room conveyed it’s on energy, all made you feel carefree and happy.

In conclusion, the Flutter Experience was a wonderful experience especially with a group. All was designed to be interactive and with a group this interaction is magnified 300%! We played, laugh, joked, learned, experienced and stimulated all of our senses to another level of awareness. To get in touch with your being, check out The flutter Experience
