Corin Hinderegger and I got to know each other through a year-long online business mastermind group this year. I am fascinated by how calm and wise she is through our interactions together, and I am amazed by this majestic horse who has been her trusted companion for many years. It’s such a delight to interview her as a Gentleness Ambassador.

A mini-analysis of Corin’s Human Design chart

Corin has such a fascinating Human Design chart with only one defined channel, and she resonates and follows her type and strategy. I have included a mini-analysis of her bodygraph here, so you can relate better to her insights here.
If you are new to Human Design, do take a look at my introductory articles here:
Corin is a Human Design Projector, and her purpose as a Projector is to serve as a wise guide for others. Only around 20% of the world’s population are Projectors.
The main challenge for Projectors is that they do not have sustainable energies, unlike most of us who are Generators and Manifesting Generators.
With limited energy reserves, their best strategy in life is to be invited into the significant aspects of life, such as marriage, work, and where to live.
They work as wise guides, helping others maximize their potential.
Profile: 2/4
Being a 2/4, Corin has to maintain the right balance between having enough alone time to restore her energies and feeling engaged in her close relationships with her loved ones and clients.
She thrives and shows her talents whenever she feels safe and comfortable enough to play.
Here is a quick guide on the meaning of Profile and basic descriptions of the 6 Lines:
Corin only has one defined channel 44/26, that links her two defined centers — Spleen and Will centers.
The Spleen Center’s themes are about the immune system, our “caveman” instinctual fears, and time awareness. Perhaps this is why Corin feels drawn to studying and practicing naturopathy.
The Will Center is about willpower energy and taking care of the ego-self.
The channel 44/26 provides the energy for selling ideas and offerings, and to share about truth and integrity.
Splenic authority
Corin’s best way to make decisions is to follow her splenic authority from her defined Spleen center. She knows what is safe to do or not to do in each moment.
Seven undefined centers
Corin senses the world deeply through her seven undefined energy centers. With so many undefined energy centers, she needs to have a consistent practice of processing and releasing what she senses from the world.
Now that you know a little about Corin’s energetic wiring, I will share with you some key insights from our interview together. At the time of the interview in August, I was at my mom’s home in the early morning in Singapore, while she was at her home in the early afternoon Auckland, New Zealand.
On being aligned as a highly sensitive Projector
Can you describe more about your work?
I help successful women at crossroads in their lives to come back to their
soul’s purpose and redefine what they truly want from life. They can then step into their unique way of abundance, joy, and fulfillment — whatever that might look like for them.
I started working as a naturopath and medical intuitive about 13 years ago, and it just evolved over the years because there is so much more to living a healthy and balanced life than just physical health. So it grew into a more holistic approach to adequately address body, mind, and soul.
How was it like growing up as a Projector with so many undefined centers?
I always could feel what was going on in other people and animals, especially when there are specific health concerns which they didn’t realize. I often knew it before they knew it.
I could always feel everyone else’s feelings, which was very confusing as a child, till I could discern between what’s mine and what’s not mine.
When I do live my purpose and follow invitations, I automatically align with my energy type.
Yet there are times, especially when I’m upscaling my business, where I go all in, and all of a sudden, I would follow someone else’s dream desire of success, and I always burn my fingers if I do that.
But now, I can tell whether this desire is mine or their definition of success. Knowing this distinction always helped me to come back to my authority. I listen to my splenic intuition on whether following a particular direction truly serves me.
It’s a learning journey!
What do you feel about your gift in being able to present and sell ideas and services?
A healthy expression of a defined channel in 44/26 indicates that she is excellent at presenting and selling to others, like a great salesperson!
I don’t like the word “sell” because, in the end, it’s an energy exchange — they get something, and money is just energy.
I’m always very conscious of whether it is aligned well, will that support them or not, etc. It’s good to think about it as a two-way exchange, to align with what the other person wants or needs.
On the pandemic
What have you sensed from this pandemic so far with your high sensitivity?
Listen to her short audio clip sharing her message:
At the beginning of 2020, a huge calm washed over me.
Even though many people are afraid and things are changing overnight, I feel so much calmer and more centered than I have felt in many years.
I know that we need this shift of consciousness to re-evaluate what is important to us. Too many of us are chasing after things that are not meant for them, and are not serving their true purpose in life.
I feel this shift of consciousness is a gift from this harsh time, even though
not everyone can see it yet.
Bingz: Wow, that’s an inspiring message for all of us. It feels like you’re standing more in your power, in your defined Will center, to motivate us to release what’s no longer in integrity with our values.
How do you take care of your energetic self during this time?
Since the beginning of this year, I have been paying more attention to my physical health and well-being.
I keep telling my body: “we had two very stressful years rebranding and redoing everything in business, now take care of yourself.”
So I spend more time with my horses, which always fills my cup and keeps me feeling supported in staying strong within myself.
I have been observing all that is happening, without any judgment or agenda, seeing how it all plays out.

Speaking of horses, can you share how you involve them in your client sessions, as you mentioned before?
I used to study Equine Facilitated Learning many years ago, and it’s fascinating to discover the horses’ various gifts because they are so profoundly in the moment.
Horses don’t care about the future and the past. They are just in the moment, whatever that moment might be. This holds such a gift for us. We can integrate this lesson in our lives, in our businesses, on being gentle this moment and not going into fight or flight when it’s not needed.
If I work with my clients in person, I would bring my horses to our sessions and guide them through different exercises.
Horses are so present in the moment. They notice when we act from our heart space or from our minds, so they will react according to how we act. No human can ever facilitate a session so profoundly the way a horse can. They don’t think about it, they just act.
I have been working online for many years. So in an online session, I would integrate the horses’ wisdom, such as living in the moment. I would ask:
How does that feel to you?
How can you connect or act from your heart space in a softer way, instead of your ego?
Yes, we need to do “x, y, z” to get to this goal. Maybe that’s only one of the many ways to reach this goal. We are all different individuals, and we need to
find a way that is suitable for us, not the one that everyone thinks we need to take.
On Gentleness and Harshness
How would you describe Gentleness?
Gentleness, to me, is about compassion and connection.
How do you practice Gentleness in your defined Will, so you don’t overpush yourself?
Usually, when I notice I’m residing in my ego too much, my whole body would tense up. That is my red flag signal, warning me to reconnect and re-evaluate my current path.
I think my Will center is serving me in many ways. I know what I want, and I always get what I want in one way or another. But if I’m too forceful, it harms my physical being. I can’t tolerate too much stress, so I always need to find that balance.
My horse came with me when I moved from Austria to New Zealand. He is always the one to help me to reassess what is vital to me. Do I really need to make that happen today, or can I wait for the right invitation, and then it will happen automatically?
Yes, I know what I want.
Yes, I know my value.
And yes, I know how I can help others.
I see this as a gift, yet I also know if I lean too much into it, it doesn’t serve me well. My approach is more into leaning back into it and just letting the universe do whatever it needs to do to make that happen.
Bingz: Ah! So it is about leaning back into a space of allowing :)
How do you find the right balance in your 2/4 Profile, so you don’t feel isolated or suffer from people fatigue?
I enjoy being alone but not entirely isolated. I need my dog, my horse, and
enjoy having my family around, especially my husband. He keeps me balanced.
If I don’t see anyone else for one to two months, it’s not a problem for me. I get very unsettled if it’s longer than that.
I have learned to notice where my energy goes throughout the month — when am I high or low in energy, and when I’m alone. My hormones have an impact on my health too.
I map out client sessions on my calendar, so I get ample downtime and interaction time in a way that works for me.
Setting my monthly schedule in advance helps me to meet the needs of these two parts of me.
How do you find your ground with all your sensitivity, especially with an undefined Identity center?
My biggest challenge is in distinguishing between my feelings and the ones I take on that are not mine. For many years, it was challenging for me, especially as a child, to navigate who I am, where I am going in life, and what doesn’t belong to me.
Having my horse when I was around 16 years old changed all that.
I learned so much from him, to observe my physical being and notice where the tension appears in my body, and how it feels to be in my ego or my purpose.
He taught me so much and helped me define who I am and who I am not. I learned to stay present in my being.
When I have client sessions, I can notice which feelings are not mine and work on that. My clients can often get to their goals more quickly because I can sense what is going on internally.
I do a body scan in the morning, and before and after client calls, so I can notice and realign to who I am again.
If I do a scan again after a client call and feel different, I would know I probably took on someone else’s energies. I can give it back and come back to who I am again. It is a very conscious practice that is very helpful for me.
How are you embodying Gentleness in your business?
I lead by example and encourage my clients to slow down to align with their purpose and dream successfully. I remind them to stop following someone else’s vision of how their business and life needs to look to be successful.
I encourage them to work in their rhythm and create baby steps they can integrate into their everyday lives more quickly, so they can release overwhelm and align with their true self. It is all about re-conditioning and realigning while they come home to their true selves.
What kind of Harshness do your clients come to you for processing and releasing?
I don’t just see this in my clients. I see this all the time.
We always strive and never arrive.
And even when we have achieved a goal, we don’t allow ourselves to celebrate it or acknowledge it. We push ourselves to do the next thing.
This mentality is so harsh in so many ways because we deplete our joy, happiness, health, and wealth.
We are telling the universe that we don’t deserve yet until we get to the next step, but once we complete the next seven steps!
This is why so many people tend to struggle financially, physically, and emotionally. They are left empty. There is no more energy left in them to give and to receive.
How are you embodying Gentleness in your personal life?
I take time out for myself, listen to my rhythm, and make sure I rest when needed.
What is the Harshness have you released in your life so far?
Oh, this is a rabbit hole question!
I started very early with deconditioning myself, especially as a Projector, it is easy to feel all the energies from others and get lost in their dreams and aspirations.
I have learned to follow my Splenic yes and no when I make decisions, and take things slow and rest when my body says I need rest. I know I get so much more done more quickly when I take proper rest.
What is the current layer of Harshness that you are currently processing and possibly releasing in your current stage of life?
Less is more and only focus on one to three tasks at a time. Do not over-commit to too many things.
What final message would you like to share with us about Gentleness?
Watch Corin’s calming message about Gentleness:
Ask yourself — what do you need today to feel your best? And just listen.
Our bodies’ wisdom carries all the answers we need, but often we’ve forgotten to listen. If we allow some Gentleness to flow into our lives to integrate what our bodies need, it will ripple out in our lives and businesses and create a massive shift for all of us.
