How to Easily “Mine” for Followers on Medium!

Get more followers now — whether you’re going for the first 100 or 1000!

Minecraft is a game that has 141 million active players worldwide. Mining, in this case, is the extraction of data.

Knowing where to go to extract the data is the key.

Mining for followers isn’t the “best method” because you are not gaining followers “organically.” Still, if you’re an introvert like me and looking for a way to get more followers, this is an excellent method.

You’ll still want to gain followers as you go through your daily reads on Medium. Remember, this is social media. The more people you have connected with, the more interactions you can make, the more people you will be “social” with and, therefore, the bigger your reach.

Click on the pic above, go to the “view claps” link the arrow is pointing to, click the number beside the tiny “View Claps” icon. On the next page is a list of people that have clapped for the article.

Now click “follow” (on a computer) or “+” (on a mobile) beside all of the people that have clapped for that story (you can follow up to 125 people a day). Usually, about 10–15% of those followers will follow you back.
