How to Do Your Own Vaccine Research

I’ve heard a lot of people saying to “do your own research” when it comes to the Covid vaccines, however, most people have never been trained to do research, so they end up reading, and believing crazy stuff from social media and blogs written by people with no real knowledge on the subject.

To be clear here, while I am a doctor, my degree is in physics, not virology or medicine. I’m not qualified to give you medical advice. However, I’m very qualified to explain how you can find good, reliable information to help you make your choice, so here are some tips.

  1. Throw out anything from anyone who doesn’t have a medical degree. The vaccine got politicized and a lot of people have opinions that are not based on medical facts. Start from scratch.
  2. My primary source is professional medical journals. These can be found at https://scholar.google.com or just search for “google scholar”, then enter your keywords. This is the search engine for the professional journals that researchers and doctors read. The downside of this source is that they use very technical language. However, each article starts out with an abstract, which is a quick summary of the paper and you can often get the gist of the paper from reading that. (Warning: you’ll feel pretty dumb after trying to work your way through this stuff. It’s what the top people are doing and finding out though, so it’s worth it.)
  3. Talk to your family doctor. If you’re willing to trust them with your health in general, you should probably listen to what they have to say about the vaccines. They read and understand the papers found in Google Scholar.
  4. The CDC has a lot of information. While its spokespeople may be colored by politics, the researchers are just working on handling data.

If you don’t trust the government or the medical community to tell you what’s correct or think that there's some ulterior motive there are still things you can do.

  1. Pick a country that’s handling the pandemic well, such as Australia, New Zealand, or Iceland, and see what they are recommending for their citizens. To determine what countries are handling the pandemic well, go to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ and sort the results by cases per million population. Click twice to get the lowest numbers on top. Then scroll down to a country you’ve heard of and can get information about.
  2. Watch what the rich and/or powerful white people do (rather than what they say) and what happens to them. Let the rich and powerful be your guinea pigs. There are more than 2 billion fully vaccinated people and more than 3 billion with one dose. (That’s better testing than almost any other drug on the market.) In this case, the majority of them have been vaccinated for months and they haven’t had any issues. For example, the vast majority of politicians, even the ones saying Covid is no big deal or poo-pooing the vaccine, have been vaccinated. Fox News required every one of its staff to not only be vaccinated but supply proof (Yes, Tucker Carson and Hannity have been vaccinated). Most of these people have been vaccinated for several months and have had no bad side effects. In contrast, the people who’ve decided not to get vaccinated have a high presence in hospitals. 90+% of people in hospitals with Covid are unvaccinated. That means that you are 9 times as likely to catch Covid and end up in the hospital if you aren’t vaccinated.
  3. Pay attention to numbers. Yes, there’s a side effect of heart issues from the vaccine with some people. With medical care, it goes away in 3–5 days. This happens to 1.6% of vaccinated people. In comparison, people with Covid, even minor cases, have a 78% chance of that same heart issue, and Covid side effects have been reported to last more than a year after the case. So assuming everyone is exposed, which looks likely at this point, your chance of heart issues is 50 X as likely without the vaccine.

What you should NOT do under any circumstances is take aquarium cleaner or livestock dewormer. These are antiparasitics and Covid is a virus, not a parasite. They kill parasites by poisoning them. Viruses are too simple to be poisoned; they don’t have the systems that poison disrupts in order to kill. Many people self-medicating with Ivermectin report “long worms” in their poop. That’s not a long worm, it’s their stomach lining. Their body is trying to get rid of the poison they are taking by shedding the poison saturated layers. It’s very likely you can cause yourself long-term damage, or even die if you take medications not meant for humans and/or don’t know how to determine the proper dose.

If you actually do “do your own research”, and do it correctly, you’ll find that the argument for vaccination is much much stronger than the argument against it.
