Mindful workouts and exercises are the best way to stay fit and healthy without compromising your routine, work, and of course You.

Sometimes you keep working out every day but still not seeing the results. That has happened with me where I found myself disappointed and not seeing the results I wanted to see. You might have got caught up in this type of thinking but it’s not always what’s best for us.

It’s difficult to work out when your mind and body are exhausted. Frankly, I am not all perfect. I have bad and low days as well but I am learning to navigate through them.

Slowly, I changed my way of thinking — incorporated mindfulness and consciousness in my workouts. became more intentional about what I do during my workout session and honestly — I started seeing positive results.

The key thing I learned is Consistency with my workouts even if I miss a few workouts in a week without feeling guilty and disappointed.

There are many ways to be more mindful with exercise. When you miss your workout or your mind/body is tired, keep the following things in mind.

Don’t feel guilty or disappointed if you missed your workout, it’s okay.

Sometimes life takes priority and you have to shelf your workouts till you come back.

Whenever you are ready to resume your workout or fitness routine, pay attention to your body- your muscles, pace, breathing, resistance, and strength. Start listening to your body and it will tell you exactly when you need to pause and when you need to start.

Be motivated to carry out your workout the next day. You can add bodyweight exercises or LISS in your routine like yoga, slow walk.

Anything you like doing it. The key is to be consistent and put all of your efforts when you are ready.

Try to re-prioritize things if possible. If you feel exhausted when managing many things. Try to see what you can do to relieve some tension. Reach out to family, friend or anyone you feel close to. Ask for help if you need any helping hand.

It’s okay if you need time to figure it out. No one is perfect.

Be present in the moment. If you are juggling things from one to another, it’s best to take a pause and re-assess. Try to stay in that moment without thinking of other things.

Accept and Act whatever the present moment contains, accept it as you have chosen it. Always work with it not against it.

This way, you will enjoy the process more and your body will feel better. You owe this to your Body, Mind, and Yourself.

Find the type of exercise you enjoy most and give ALL. The more mindful you are about your movement the better results you will get and the more consistent you will be in achieving your goals.

Experiment with different workouts. Try yoga, strength training or cardio, or whatever you like doing.

Find your favorite corner in the house or anywhere you feel like yourself and start smashing your workouts and exercises.

The key is to add more mindfulness in your workout is ENJOY what you do and add PURPOSE to it.

Once you find your purpose, stick with it.

On your low days, get back to your purpose why you started it. I am sure, it will help you to get up and start working towards your fitness goals.

Last but not least, no matter what, Love and Forgive yourself.

That is the best gift you can give to YOURSELF.
