How to Detox Your Life with Green Juice and a Delete Button
Stop the insanity.

One of the greatest challenges facing elegant people today is the less-than-positive elements of technology and chemical food ingredients having a negative effect on the body and mind.
This looks like a fat, diseased and depressed human squishing themselves into an airplane seat, staring into their phone, and weeping. The solution is to detoxify your body with natural green juices while detoxifying your mind with a complete culling of social media.
Witness the Horror
I first noticed this problem at the dawn of social media and the rise of the concept of YouTube stardom. Disordered eating and toxic social media presence or addiction are connected to the psyche, then combined to create a new disorder I call Dumpy Dejected Desiring Devotion Disorder or D5.
D5 manifesting in the body and mind through social media and chemical food ingestion persists because of less than stellar levels of self-esteem probably stemming from trauma, just like every other less than chic behavior we exhibit. American social media influencer and amateur entertainer, Tricia Paytas, would agree. While recording The 10 minutes, 100 Chicken Wing Challenge, she asks if she was skinny, what would people comment about? She says she wants to be skinny remarking further that she is sensitive about her weight, that it is her trigger (See supporting videos).

There are Three Main Dangers of D5
Sitting home and making videos on social media and scrolling through your ex-boyfriend's wife's vacation photos while eating hot dogs, will set you back on your wellness journey. Take caution of these possible pitfalls:
One. Eating disorders. A recent study of women between the ages of 18 and 25 showed a link between Instagram and increased self-objectification and body image concerns, especially among those who frequently viewed fitspiration images. Social media alone is typically not the sole cause of developing an eating disorder, it can play a significant role for those susceptible to eating disordered behaviors (Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders, 2019).
Two. Depression. The feeling people get when they see their friends leading what appears to be a more elegant life than they do lead, based on their status updates and photos (Mammoser, 2018). Individuals in their twenties may feel inadequate when their friends from the past post pictures of themselves with their gorgeous spouses, going on exquisite trips out of the country and trying exotic foods. For this reason, experts believe that social media may have an even larger impact on those who already struggle with a mental health condition (Mammoser, 2018).
Two. Loneliness. All people need attention to feel happy. Lonely people lack attention that is positive and accurate or individually for them. You only get as much high-quality attention as people want to give you. And asking for more or attention-seeking is a signal that, in your case, they don’t want to give as much as you need(Mammoser, 2018). Receiving attention through social media is inauthentic and momentary leaving the aspiring chic wanting for more.

The Less Than Chic Results of Promoting an Unhealthy Body Image
This problem of D5 looks like the phenomenon of influencers posting images of their bodies online daily. Their bodies are in a state of unwellness, scrolling past the eyes of the even less well and less healthy. This is a cycle of anorexia, obesity, and social anxiety. Social media has reduced the value of pride in society.

Turn it Around with Mindful Self Reflection
The problem of D5 in society either directly or indirectly affects you negatively as it causes blockages on your path to peak excellence. Ask yourself the following questions.
- Am I making muckbang videos?
- Am I taking selfies and posting them daily for a non-business account?
- Am I operating social media sites that focus on my sexual image?
- Am I watching pornography on social media?
- Am I viewing family photos of long-ago lovers?
- Am I taking dieting advice from social media influencers?
- Am I sending money to a 600 lb person in exchange for private eating or pornographic images?
- Do I cry after viewing social media?
- Do I worry my child is affected by social media?
- Do I worship food through social media?
Analyze the results. Where is your starting point? When you focus on your minimalist and mental wellness journeys, your physical body will align with peak excellence.

Level Up with Healthy Choices
The solution to D5 is to drink three green smoothies a day and delete all personal social media accounts. Now, this might sound difficult, especially for the younger crowd. I can assure you, there was life before social media, and it was a healthier one. Here are three steps to fix your life.
Step one. Buy a blender and delete TikTok.
Step two. Get green vegetables and delete Facebook.
Step three. Drink your first green juice and delete Instagram.
This three-step plan directly assists in avoiding the major dangers of D5, eating disorders, depression, and loneliness in the following ways: You start to feed your body and brain vitamins it needs to help you realize how unhealthy judging yourself based on one-minute TicTok videos really is. The vegetables releasing into your bloodstream will give you more energy to fight off the demons of the past that keep posting their engagement photos from Vegas and finally the smoothies will get your digestive system moving to cause you to lose weight and shed the mindfat that has accumulated on your spirit while scrolling.

“Fat is a word used to negatively bring down the girls with a little extra junk in their trunk. Being called fat is just a label put on to us by others who can’t handle all this” Tricia Paytas (Ganji, 2015)

Just be Beautiful
Now you have seen that social media and unhealthy food ingredients combined are having a less than ideal effect on the wellness journeys of elegant people. The manifestation of this modern lifestyle combination can range from chronic loneliness to disordered eating. This challenging yet simple change to your life will be of benefit to you because you will feel free of emotional baggage and happier with your healthy gorgeous body. Embrace the deletion of social media and introduce vitamin-rich juices as part of your path to peak excellence.
