Create What You Want in Life
The creator you are meant to be

Did you know there is a simple way to create anything you want in life? Imagine finally creating that one thing you have always desired. It could range from a meaningful relationship to obtaining a patent for an invention. Or it could be that next step in life or your entire career. Let’s look at an easy way of creating that next great thing in your life.
This easy-to-understand method for creating comes from the work of master creator Robert Fritz. Many thousands of people worldwide have used his methods successfully for years. If you are serious about creating, I recommend picking up his book The Path of Least Resistance.
You can use Fritz’s method to create the simplest or the most complex things imaginable. It works because it follows the natural pattern of creating. Let’s walk through each of the steps on the following Creating Worksheet. We will go through the steps sequentially, with the creation in mind in step #1. After developing a clear description of what you wish to create, you will go to step #2 at the bottom and work your way back up to your desired outcome.

1. Desired Outcome/Creation
To begin creating, you must have a clear picture of what you want to create. It could be anything from a business, a new job or career, a painting, sculpture, song, poem, article, story, website, or anything else you can imagine in your mind. The list is as endless as the number of ideas you have. Depending upon the creation, you should include behaviors, physical descriptors, and any processes involved.
Spend as much time on this as you need to get a clear picture of what you want. A simple way to know you have arrived is when you can explain it to someone else, and they clearly understand what you want to create. Once you see every detail of your creation, move to step 2.
2. Current Situation
The better you understand your current situation and the reality of what exists, the easier it will be to create your next steps. Where are you now compared to your ideal state or desired outcome? List the facts that currently exist.
Do not be deceived into believing you have something that you do not. For example, if you have an idea for building a website, as I recently did, yet have no understanding of how to go about it, acknowledge this fact. Recognizing such inexperience will waste far less time, allowing you to seek the resources needed to do the work.
If you fool yourself and do not clearly understand what you need, you only slow down the process and waste energy. Seek to understand the reality of your current situation as clearly and truthfully as possible.
3. Assets (Resources)
List the resources you have available to create your desired outcome. Include personal and other strengths, connections, experience, and any real possibilities that exist.
4. Barriers
List everything that could work against you. Include weaknesses and barriers that may exist, and anything you lack.
5. Next Steps
List as many steps as needed to create your desired outcome. Once you complete the form, prioritize each step. You are now ready to go to work on your creation!
Try this process on something simple. You will quickly find how well it works and how easy it is to use. As you begin understanding the simple process and its underlying principles, it will change your life as it has mine! Again, Fritz’s The Path of Least Resistance is a must-read if you want to create anything in life, and who doesn’t? It is what we human beings were created to do!
Final thoughts
Fritz’s work has affected everyone I know who has ever read it. It dramatically changed how I did business, and I have used it to create everything from planning a simple meeting to highly complex business projects. Following Fritz’s work helped me start several companies, obtain seven patents, and create and publish my book Uncommon Sense. I continue to use it as I write and publish articles and for the leadership teaching and training I do.
Buy The Path of Least Resistance and allow it to open your eyes wide to how you can create anything you want in life. Why not create something good for your life and the life of others.
May you become known as the creator you are meant to be!
