The author emphasizes the need for improving self-awareness, listening to one's inner voice, and planting dreams in the subconscious mind. To achieve this, the article discusses three factors: desire, heart, and purpose. Desire refers to having a strong passion for one's dream, while heart involves connecting deeply with one's dreams and protecting them from negativity. Purpose refers to having a clear vision and belief in something beyond oneself. It’s a common feeling, the feeling of being undone — stuck. Moments that block creativity, arrest our optimistic spirit.

We all have dreams, ambitions that we occasionally struggle to execute every day. But how do we overcome this temporary paralysis? Where do we begin?
A good starting point is to improve our self-awareness, by listening to our inner voice, the intrinsic light that fuels our dreams.
In the beginning, our dreams are weak. They reside in our conscious mind, like a newly planted seed. Events or people can gate-crash at any moment and stamp all over our sapling visions.
If we incubate our roots in self-belief, our passion for our dreams, a bulldozer could not uproot us.
We need strong roots. This article will discuss how we can get unstuck to deal with the inevitable — when you come undone.
We have to ground our dreams in the deep roots of self. To do so we must plant them in our subconscious mind. Planting dreams in our subconscious is a powerful strategy. Why? because our subconscious mind is intertwined in our hearts.
To succeed, we must be aware of the following three factors:
A dream has to be something that we really want, not just something we think we want or are envious of.
If you don’t get excited about your dream it’s no more than a nice to have, not a need to have. A must.
You have to focus on you, on your dream with all your being.
It must be a must.
You already have something planted in your heart, sown into the vision of your minds’ eye. It was born alongside you, blinded from time to time by weeds from the course of your life challenges.
Weeds can kill dreams, but only with our permission.
It’s your dream, so own it — protect it, and nurture it.
True dreams are embedded in a purpose, a belief in something, anything. Without a purpose, we’re flying blind in the night.
What’s your purpose?

Musically speaking, all this rhythmic-thinking harmonized my flow of thoughts with Illumination in mind.
Now, I’m not suggesting that Dr Mehmet is the next Simon LeBon. The Doc. may be a Depeche Mode or an Erasure fan for all I know. Chris might shed more light on this.
Nor do I think that B. A. Cumberlidge. is a Wham fan, for all I know he could be banging out “Club Tropicana” with Joe every weekend … Brian and Kristin could be “Pepsi and Shirlie.”
Your guess is as good as mine.
The only thing I’m certain of is that George is a Wham fan, I mean Duran Duran. Apologies for my careless whisper there Mr. Z, two Greek legends who share the same name can be confusing.
Lost, in a snow-filled sky We’ll make it alright to come undone Now we’ll try to stay blind to the hope and fear outside Hey child, stay wilder than the wind and blow me in to cry
— Duran Duran
To recap, allow me to remind you of the three simple takeaways:
Illumination was born out of this trifecta of creativity.
“This is the one.” — The Stone Roses
To conclude, here’s a song by the Stone Roses that reflects the sentiment in a recent article by B. A. Cumberlidge.
