How to Build A System to Never Run Out of Ideas to Write About

Steal them all.

Photo by LinkedIn Sales Solutions on Unsplash

In the last two years of writing online I published 370 articles on this platform.

I writing routine has changed since I started writing.

From one article per month to one week, to 3 articles per week.

It’s didn’t happen overnight.

I worked relentlessly to build a system that helps me write consistently.

Since last 6 months my routine has always been (pretty much) the same.

It took me a a few months of practive before it become a part if my lifestle.

It’s nothing wild and ambitious but simple and easier to follow.

It goes something like this:

  • Wake up at 06 AM ( my sweet spot is usually 06:30 AM)
  • Do 15 minutes yoga flow
  • Take a shower
  • Grab my favorite masala tea
  • Write outlines for 30 minutes

One question I always get stuck on what to write specially when it comes to writing outline and what new I can write today.

As this topic is close to my heart because some days I really struggle to get new cool ideas.

Below are the ways that are helping me to generate grat idea without buring myself.

Hope they helps to you too.

1/ Observe what people talk about the most:

“Be curious, not judgmental.” — Walt Whitman

In our everyday interactions, we encounter a multitude of conversations.

By keenly observing what people talk about the most, we gain insights into their interests, concerns, and desires.

This observation allows us to tap into the collective consciousness and identify areas where ideas and innovations may be needed.

By embracing curiosity and suspending judgment, we open ourselves up to new perspectives and uncover unexplored opportunities.

2/ The easiest way to find ideas:

“The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas.” — Linus Pauling

Ideas are the building blocks of progress and change.

They have the power to shape our lives and the world around us.

The easiest way to find ideas is to immerse ourselves in a diverse range of experiences, both personal and intellectual.

  • Engaging in activities,
  • exploring different disciplines,
  • reading voraciously, and
  • seeking inspiration from various sources expand our mental horizons and increase the likelihood of stumbling upon transformative ideas.

By embracing a mindset of abundance and exploration, you can unlock a wealth of creative possibilities.

3/ Talk through your ideas:

“Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.” — John Steinbeck

Ideas thrive and grow when shared and discussed.

Talking through our thoughts not only allows us to refine and solidify our ideas but also provides an opportunity for valuable input and feedback.

  • Engaging in conversations with trusted friends,
  • colleagues, mentors, or even strangers can lead to fresh insights, alternate perspectives, and collaborative opportunities.

By embracing dialogue and actively seeking out constructive discussions, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and propel our ideas towards fruition.

Conclusion:

Observing the conversations around us, actively seeking inspiration, and engaging in meaningful discussions are powerful strategies for harnessing inspiration and discovering transformative ideas.

By observing what people talk about, nurturing curiosity, and approaching conversations with an open mind, we unlock the potential to generate innovative solutions and contribute to positive change.

As you embark on your creative journeys, strive to be curious, receptive, and collaborative in your pursuit of ideas.

But I’ll tell you the most effective way to come up with ideas: find a topic you love talking about non-stop and talk about it until it tires you out.

That’s what happened to me and It’s helping me to create a one person business around it.
