Do this and change your view

What changes do you want to make, need to make, or are afraid to make? Could now be the time to move forward — into the unknown?

A friend shared that she is so tired of turning on the TV and hearing more bad news. “It’s a never-ending nightmare. One bad thing after another. Haven’t we been through enough? And then the next horrific thing happens.”

Who can’t relate?

So many are feeling hate out there. They hate what is happening and they hate the people who are causing the grief.

In these dark times, it brings to mind the quote by Martin Luther King Jr:

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

I love this quote, written by a man who was tragically silenced. Yet his wisdom lives on to offer hope and inspiration for our world today.

I have shared before how Love is the most powerful force. You get to choose to step into the power of Love. In these times that we are in, there is an opportunity to raise your vibration.

I am writing this email on Sunday and I am noticing today how many people I follow are speaking about raising our consciousness.

As Michael Bernard Beckwith shared in his sermon at Agape International via their livestream “Where your attention goes — energy flows.”

He did not create this quote — he is one of the messengers. I love this message Where are you putting your attention in these times?

Is it on the negatives in your life — and this world? If so, you will see more negative things to put your attention on. Can you put your attention on the positives that are in your life and in this world? What would you see?

Maria Shriver sent out her Sunday Paper email asking us to “Listen to your heart.” She did not create this quote — she is one of the messengers. I love this message. Are you listening to your head, or are you listening to your heart?

Maria shared about the helpers that are doing what they can to help in these times. The money that is being raised for the Highland Park victims and family as an example…

She shared, “So many people are working hard to create a better, more compassionate world. On this day, close your eyes and open your heart. Our present and our future lies in the hands of those who feel big and allow those feelings to drive them to change things for the better.”

Are you feeling big — or are you keeping yourself small? Can you close your mind with all its thoughts and open your heart in your life — and to this world?

What would happen if you would lead with your heart…

I recently joined a program that was recorded years ago with Mary Morrissey. Each week opens a prerecorded lesson. I listened to this week’s this morning. It was about the importance of “Responding instead of reacting.”

Mary did not create this quote — she is one of the messengers. I love this message. I have shared this with you many times…

…You only have control over one thing — yourself. Things will happen, you can’t stop them. Will you react (who you have been) or respond (who you want to be).

It’s YOUR choice — YOU get to choose — YOU are in control…of you.

I started thinking, in these times we are in, it would be understandable if we wanted a REVOLUTION. Its meaning is a forcible overthrow of a government or order, in favor of a new system.

Instead, what if these times were bringing about an EVOLUTION? Its meaning is the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

What if you are meant to step out of the simple form of yourself and the way you have always been. And step into a you that you have never been — and now want to be?

What if we end up creating a NEW system — much better than our past systems? One thing I’ve noticed about revolution and evolution is that within each word — is Love… Look for Love, can you see it? It’s there…

…Fear creates more fear! We are all energy, so what we focus on, we create more of.

We can’t figure things out from a place of fear, we need the energy of love. Think about times when you are full of fear, those are the times when you are not thinking straight.

You’re reacting and not creating.

Louise Hay once wrote years ago that “In the Piscean Age we looked ‘out there’ for our savior. “Save me — please take care of me.” Now we are moving into the Aquarian Age, and we are learning to go within to find our savior.”

“We are the power we have been seeking”.

Louise continued, “I believe that all of us who are living at this time chose to be here to be a part of these changes, to bring about change, and to transform the world from the old way of life to a more loving and peaceful existence.”

Well, guess what — We are now in the Aquarian Age…

How do we tap into the power that we are seeking? Through Love.

Can you begin to focus on changing your thoughts, feelings and perspectives to create the signals that will give you the life you want. And help to create the world that you want?

It starts with you — and it starts with me. We need to unite — we need to come together… Imagine…

This is the journey of self-awareness…
