How To Become Rich
A lesson in poetry
To become rich, they say, is quite the feat A journey fraught with perils and deceit But if you’re willing to take the risk You might just end up filthy rich
Step one: start your own business, they say But what if your product is just okay? You’ll need to hustle, market, and sell Or your profits will be naught, oh well
Step two: invest in stocks and shares But beware of market crashes and scares You might make a fortune in a flash Or lose it all in one fell crash
Step three: save every penny you can But don’t forget to live a little, man It’s no fun being rich and all alone Without a soul to call your own
Step four: inherit a fortune, if you can But what if your rich uncle was a bad man? You might end up with a curse, not a gift And regret ever being on his will, swift
So there you have it, my dear friend The road to riches has no clear end But if you’re brave enough to try Just remember, it’s okay to cry
