How to be Spiritual in Your Daily Life
It is about being mindful of the small tasks
This week, I listened to a few podcasts. I found one message in all of them.
There should be some spiritual practices in our daily lives.
It is a means to detach yourself from the worldly matter for some time.
How to do it?
See divinity in a daily mundane job
Daily activities almost feel like automated tasks for me.
- Wake up at 7
- Get ready and go to work
- Finish the day with a tired mind
- Talk to family
- Prepare for sleep
- And the usual dance begins the next day
It feels monotonous to me sometimes.
Even hanging out with friends on weekends seems boring.
Train your mind to see higher power in these daily activities.
When you do this, you practice spirituality in the simplest form.
Grow through daily challenges
You have an important meeting on Wednesday at 9 am.
But you are in traffic.
You have two options
- You stress thinking about extreme consequences
- Or, you calm yourself and think about what you can control and what you cannot control
When you approach the second option, you practice the spiritual practice of mind control.
In one day, we get plenty of challenges. Instead of yelling in our minds, we can pivot around them to elevate our minds.
Relationships
Admit that not all relationships emotionally elevate us.
We all have that one person in our close circle who tries to make our lives difficult.
Difficult people or situations are an opportunity to raise our vibration.
Conclusion
Sometimes, we feel directionless in life and find it boring.
- Take a pause and express gratitude for what you already have.
- See any trouble as a cosmic sign to help you grow from your limitations.
If you have this daily mindfulness, you are already practicing spirituality.
