How to Accomplish a Geniun willpower to Pray

Do you know what happens when we are sleeping? we enjoy sleeping so much and we want to sleep for another 5 minutes, but why?

Our souls travel back to Allah when we are in a state of sleeping. So technically we are home, our souls feels like home and we want to feel that way.

Sleeping is the minor death, you sleep and your soul is in the hands of Allah, then you wake up.

You have to understand that prayer is in the same category as sleeping here.

You are spiritually going to meet Allah, You are going to say the words of Allah, He is listening to YOU.

Think of prayer in that way, He literally gave you a certain way to pray to Him. A way to connect to Him. How merciful and thoughtful is the God of us?

Your prayer builds everything in you, your iman, your fear of Allah, your belief in destiny. Everything is connected. Prayer provides calmness and meditation, you look at life with new eyes. You reconsider life and your thoughts. You value the meaningful things, you enjoy the simple things, because you are praying, praying is a sort of meditation.

Some tips to gain passion for praying:

1- Begin with breathing before you pray, try not to think about any daily things before your prayer. This is to pray without any outer distraction

2- Pray in a calm and a place with little lighting

3- Recite Quran with consideration and awarness, I recommend reading the interpretation of the surahs’s, even if you know Arabic.

4- Wait 5 seconds after every movement. This calms your brain enormously.

5- Alwayes have in mind that Allah is hearing you.

Remember that shaytan is the one telling you to pray later, or to not pray at all because you have done this and this. Many reasons to not pray and the cause is one: shaytan, just don’t listen and do the opposite.

Remember my brother/sister, we are here for that reason, we are here because Allah is testing us, Allah knows that in the beginning we are going to struggle with praying, we are going to listen to shaytan’s voice. That’s what broughts us here, to this world.
