How The Japanese Live Longer.
How do they do it?

It is no secret that a great many Japanese live to be a ripe old age. In fact, out of a population of 128 million there are as I write some fifteen thousand Japanese people who are at least 100 years old. What’s more they have an excellent quality of life ! The question is, how exactly do they do it ?
A super low fat healthy diet
First off they have an amazing diet of natural products which are very low in any type of fats and carbohydrates. The Japanese tend to eat mostly vegtables, organic if possible, and very little meat.
Very little alcohol or tobacco
Our Asian friends also do not consume the same quantities of alcohol nor smoke quite so much tobacco as we do. Drunkeness is almost never seen anywhere. And smoking even in the street is illegal and punishable with a hefty fine!
Regular exercise
In addition, most Japanese people tend to take regular exercise. It is not uncommon to see older people out in the fields working a fair sized allotment and some even take up mountain climbing ! And they leave me behind far down the mountain I can tell you, even though they may be thirty years older ! Overall then, it would seem a super healthy lifestyle has a lot to do with Japanese longevity.
An excellent healthcare system
As well as this the Japanese have an excellent healthcare system, amongst the best in the civilised world. I can personally vouch for that as I live here and the treatments I have had are superior to that of Europe.
Environmental cleanliness
And it helps that they take environmental cleanliness to extremes we in other parts of the world can only dream of. It is so clean you can almost eat you food off the streets !
A stress free, peace loving nation
However, in my opinion, I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are a quiet, super polite, none aggressive, peace loving nation of people. Stress seems to be almost unheard of from what I have seen so far.
So there you have it, if you want to make old bones take a few sushi leaves from the Japanese book of a long, long life.
