How the Democrats took a stand for equal voting rights for all in the face of threats of arrest

Every citizen has the right to vote and that privilege is in danger because a political party, GOP, wants to dictate who can vote to ensure their win in all political offices. The GOP has no political agenda other than to remain in control, aspirations for the next presidential race and to suppress the vote of people of color. Thus far two thirds of the 51 states have passed anti-voting bills against people of color, young voters and disabled voters.

Even though no fraud has been proven in the 2020 presidential election, these bills are continually being passed at an alarming rate. During and post presidential election of 2020, court cases after court cases were thrown out that the many Trump lawyers challenged the legality of the voting systems in various states and the actual election with no evidence to prove any illegal activity occurred.

It is a shame and an atrocity that more than half of the fifty one states have filed hundreds of anti-voting laws targeting people of color, young people and the physically disable. How the courts have allowed such behavior when it is obvious what is happening is anti-democracy, and shameful. Now I understand why Trump filled the seats on the Supreme Court with his judiciary selection. It was all about staying in control and denying the due processes of elections. This racist agenda has always been in place, but since the last administration, it gave all a license to increase at an alarming rate denying equal rights, voting rights, and civil rights to people of color, young voters and the disabled.
