How Social Media Will Rig The 2022 Midterms and The 2024 Election

Not to worry, Google will deliver the winners in your state

Due to my weekly talk radio show and weekly YouTube videos, I must keep abreast of what’s happening around the country and around the world in news and politics.

Even though my show is available worldwide on the web, it’s still a small market station.

Even though the national programs on all day are conservative, I must be middle of the road, in my opinion, to attract as many listeners as possible from all political spectrums.

My ratings have proven that I have a broad demographic of local listeners from all parties.

So, while Roe v. Wade was news when announced, and I certainly covered it, the real news will be the fallout in the coming months as states decide how to handle this SCOTUS decision.

I doubt any state will tackle this before the election. There’s too much to lose.

Google Trends Tell the Tale

One of the many sources I use to take the pulse of America is Google Trends.

I enter search terms such as “Supreme Court,” “Roe v Wade,” “Late Term Abortion,” etc.

Google shows me search interest for those terms over months of time.

As you can probably guess, there were two spikes of interest about Roe. One when the leak happened and again when the final decision came down.

Google Trends Screenshot by Author

Before that, abortion interest was almost non-existent. And after the spikes, it’s headed back down.

The same was true of the other keywords I queried. Two spikes, then a steep downturn.

The same thing happens with gun control and mass shootings. Spikes when they happen, not much when they don’t.

Here’s How Social Media Will Control the 2022 and 2024 Election

In 2020 we watched as Google, Twitter, and Facebook delivered the White House to Joe Biden with zero campaigning.

Mail-in ballots, as opposed to in-person voting, sealed the deal.

We know this is possible because President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s social media company, did the same thing for Trump, which is why he ended up taking Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Democrats took those states for granted, and Kushner bombarded Democrats with Trump messages in those states, and it paid off.

All the highly paid political pundits were shocked and embarrassed on election night.

Social media was asleep at the switch.

That won’t happen again.

Hillary got more votes than Trump, but she got them in areas she would have won anyway, so her extra votes were meaningless.

A glaring example of why the founders were geniuses to come up with the Electoral College as opposed to the popular vote.

They realized a couple of populist states or even large cities could elect the president year after year.

Google, Facebook, and Twitter didn’t give Trump a chance, nor did anyone else. Hillary had a double-digit lead in almost every poll going into election eve — so they stayed out of it.

If you think these social media giants are going to sit back in the 2022 and 2024 elections, then you need to watch this.

When the two heads of the snake are unhappy, you know what’s coming next.

Forget for a moment that they’re just upset because Trump won. Read between the lines.

I believe their reaction would have been the same if the winning candidate had been Romney, McCain, or Abe Lincoln.

Social media simply can’t allow Republicans to be in power. And speaking of power —

How powerful is Google?

Censorship of What You See and Hear Will Begin in September

We’ve already seen censorship all over social media already. You post something on any social media platform, and some woke, knuckle-dragging, basement-dwelling fact checker will block your post.

Or you’ll spend a few days in Facebook jail. I’ve been there a time or two. Hint: Sarcasm doesn’t work with fact-checkers.

They went totally overboard with the censorship of Covid posts.

Why Social Media is Forced To Control These Elections

It’s in the social media communities’ best interest to keep Democrats in power. Here’s why.

Section 230 is a section of Title 47 of the United States Code enacted as part of the United States Communications Decency Act, which generally provides immunity for website platforms with respect to third-party content.

Section 230(c)(2) further provides “Good Samaritan” protection from civil liability for operators of interactive computer services in the good faith removal or moderation of third-party material they deem “obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected.”

Please notice that nowhere in the above the law is there anything about accuracy or inaccuracy. I guess accuracy falls under “Otherwise Objectionable.”

In other words, they can deem anything you post as offensive or inaccurate, and you have zero say in the matter.

You can appeal for all the good it will do you.

And with that, they control the narrative.

Google Will Rely on All Politics Being Local to Fix the Elections

I’m predicting none of the states will take up Roe until after the midterm elections. The time to come up with anything is too short.

Plus, there are already enough upset voters in each state without throwing Roe gas on an already out-of-control economic blaze.

They’ll abstain until 2023.

However, that doesn’t mean that Roe won’t be symbolically on every ballot across the fruited plain.

As November draws near, mainstream media, especially social media, will be putting Roe front and center 24/7.

Anything to do with pro-life positions on social media will be as rare as an Elvis sighting.

Google knows the districts they need to target in each state, the candidates they favor, and who the party members are so they can cherry-pick the messages they send out pre-midterms to play on the emotions of potential voters.

Will the information be correct? Doesn’t matter — the platform sending it out controls the fact checkers and the censorship.

They’ve already conditioned you with Covid and gun control that if there’s no fact-checking dispute on the post, it must be true.

Keeping the House and Senate is critical to the Democrats and social media in both these elections.

In addition, Republicans are famous for sitting on their hands and not voting even when it’s in their best interest to do so.

Will that change due to inflation, food and gas prices, uncontrolled borders, and rampant crime everywhere?

Only time will tell on that one.

Forget The Russians; the Chinese Will Be Google’s Sidekick in 2022.

China is poised to insert their influence with the youth vote with their massive TikTok following.

The 18-year old’s will be pawns for the Democrats unless there’s in-person voting. The youth are too impatient to stand in long lines when they don’t even know who’s on the ballot or care.

Asking their roommate for advice on filling out the mail-in ballot will be a common dorm room practice.

If the election continues with mail-in ballots, the Republicans might not have the red wave they think is coming.

One-third of the Senate and the entire House is up for grabs in November. Is there a dark horse in this race?

The only sure thing is there’s no sure thing.

Some Final Thoughts on Election Fixing

Will any of my predictions come to pass? Who knows.

If I’m right, then the networks should be calling the day after the election, and I can move into big bucks’ territory.

If not, then I’m just another uninformed vile spewing loudmouth who can be summarily dismissed and kicked to the media curb.

But at least I’m willing to make some predictions, and true or not, they might be a little entertaining and thought-provoking.
