How Quarantine Has Changed Our Lives

Lockdown has made us wiser than before, yet we don’t recognize it.

For years, the pressure of society has influenced us so much that we have forgotten to live for ourselves. The global pandemic allowed us to reflect and acknowledge the rat race in which we were all trapped.

Here is why you should be thankful for the quarantined life:

• The Rat Race:

In the book “Rich Dad and Poor Dad,” Robert Kiyosaki beautifully defines the rat race that made us the prisoners of our lives. He explains that we are so inclined towards teaching our children to get higher education so they will have a bright future. Unfortunately, there is some misguidance that we do not know.

What will happen after getting a well reputable job?

A job with higher pay and other benefits suits you well. The problem comes when the taxes keep on increasing while the salary remains somewhat the same. It gets harder for you to support your children, and yet you intend to teach the same to them that study hard and get an outstanding job so they can get settled in life.

The life you find stressful enough made you forget about taking care of yourself, so do you still plan the same cycle for your children?

Therefore, why not teach something mindful to your children for their benefit. So, they have the upper hand in having a successful life.

The non-stop cycle of surviving to please the norms and values of society made us forget our desires from life. I love how Robert explains all the life lessons that he learned in his life. Yet people are still running in the rat race. This pandemic gave a lot of opportunities to people to think about themselves.

The rat race of going to school, getting admission to a college, achieving a degree from a reputable university, so you can work to earn money for the rest of your life until you get retired.

Millions of people have lost their jobs because of the pandemic. It was sad to hear it because those people spend their entire life working for the organizations, and it did not take a minute for the entities to fire them. Therefore, you should learn something out of it. You should build something of your own with the use of digital technology.

Some people have started their online business and freelancing, which proves to be quite successful for them. Those working hard on online platforms are now earning more than their job’s income.

If others can do it, so can you.

• You do not have to know everything:

The digital world is growing, and it will become massive in the future. To my surprise, there are thousands of people who are already earning their primary income through online platforms.

Yet, many of us don’t know about it. Why is that?

The primary reason is that we were involved in the rat race without realizing that there are many other better opportunities available for us.

If you can earn through digital networks, then the future is different for many of us. With all the digital advances and technological updates, you can start your business right away. Our future is in the digital world. So, why not start your train now into the digital globe.

Quarantine gave a glance to people to think about their future. Rather than focusing on getting a job, why not start a business for yourself? Millions of people got unemployed during this pandemic from the very company they hold close to their hearts.

All the hard work, working for years, having a well reputable profile. It took only a single virus to take away all that you have for years. Many people realized their unpredictable position by questioning themselves that I have been working in this organization for years, and they did not even bother to think about my life when I gave my life years to them. Therefore, many of us have started building our online portfolios to secure our future. It is a smart act during this pandemic.

• Transformation:

This quarantine has brought a global shift where people came to know more about online meetings and online work. The global world is shifting into the digital global. It has opened many more opportunities in the market. You cannot tell what the future holds for you, but working digitally either in affiliate marketing or advertising will gain you numerous benefits in the future.

After lockdown, you will see differences in people’s attitudes, either it is negative or positive, but people will be wiser, and open as they were before.

Thus, quarantine was necessary for many of us to relax and give a little time to ourselves that we have ignored for ages while running in the rat race. You should be thankful for quarantine for providing you the time to reflect on yourself.

No matter how much we hated the pandemic for locking us into our homes, it still proves to be worthy of giving us the enlightenment of living for ourselves.
