Our Government Was a System — How Progressives Took All the Power

For the record: BOTH parties are Progressive today because they both operate outside the confines of the Constitution. They are just happy fighting for POWER under the disguise of ideology. People be damned.

The idea behind the War of Independence (1776) in which, our forefathers gave every ounce of blood for every one of us who is here today, was the opposite of being ruled by a despot “Sovereign King.”

After that war, the leaders of the 13 colonies got together and on November 15, 1777, they formed what was known as the “Continental Congress,” and created a form of government with a Constitution known as the “Articles of Confederation.” After a period of time, the “Founders” observed the good and bad of the Constitution they had created and published these observations in papers known as the “Federalist Papers.” All the People were informed of the good and bad of living under this constitution through these published papers. Anyone interested can read them today. The observations are VALID TODAY.

A Good Experiment that was the basis for our Founder’s Constitution — Source, author created the chart.

Under the Articles of the Confederacy, the States dictated to a weak central government, the States were ruled by majority vote and were obliged to do the majority bidding thus, leaving the individual at the bottom of the heap.

The state legislature was the strongest feature of state government, the governor was a figurehead. in addition new legislatures were voted frequently, which drove new “majority” laws into the books, sometimes conflicting with older laws. This created many problems and a very weak union, locally, state-wide, nationally and worldwide.

In 1788, using largely, the Federalist Papers as a template, our Founders worked in the Congress they had created under the Government of the Confederacy and ratified the Constitution that exists today (June 21, 1788).

The Constitution

This new Constitution defined a “System of Government.” This means, all the parts are related and required for governance such that the “Individual” is sovereign.

What the Founders Created an “Integrated Whole” — Source, the author created the chart.

Our government WAS a “whole that could not be divided into independent parts.”

Why? Because

  • the Governments’ “essential property was derived from the action of its parts working together.”
  • “The properties that define our system of government are properties of the whole, that none of the parts have.” The President cannot do what the Supreme Court does, and so on.
  • All this was put in motion by the individual vote.
  • One of the rules of the Constitution, the “Electoral College,” puts the individual in charge, not the majority.
Our entire government is a SYSTEM and subject to the Constitution’s LAW. Source — author, created the chart.

Another feature that put “The People” in charge is the Amendment process in that, if any of our God given rights were to be changed (amended in any way), WE the people would have to approve such change through “The Amendment” process.

This happens to be the main reason WHY the progressives in 1913 broke their SWORN DUTY to “Uphold the Constitution of the USA.” Any other day we could call them Traitors but, after 100 years of progressive rule, we are a bit late for that. However, the government today is comfortable laying the sworn duty to us when we serve in the Armed Forces.

Our (Relatively) New Government

TODAY, we have this thing we call a government, but it is a new form of CONTROL. Source — author, created the chart.

Funny. This is why Thomas Sowell said, “It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than, by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.” But today, they make ALL the decisions and we are the subjects of all their decisions. Here is the summary of change:

Over time the “Individual (I) has been put at the bottom of the inverted pyramid — Source, the author created the chart.

How did this Work? History Timeline, the big picture:

Change over time — Source, the author created the chart.

This is how the Government works today: (it is not there to protect the individual but the “social structure”)

Inverted Pyramid, a detailed look. The system is no longer. The Legislative acts as it did back with the Articles of the Confederacy — Source, the author created the chart.

What is Democracy and what is Republicanism? We are BACK to the “Articles of the Confederacy” without the articles. Just a government that does whatever it wants:

  • Democracy is the idea of pure majority rule. This is why under the Articles of the Confederacy, the states were majoritarian governments. This yielded the abuse of individual rights (like today).
  • Many of the Framers saw this and stated “the ills we face are due to an excess of democracy.” Meaning “Majority Rule.” They did not mean democracies in the sense of town halls, groups, or referenda, they meant representative governments.
  • If you go to a dictionary and look up “republic” and it says, “representative democracy,” that is wrong. The Framers needed checks on the democratic process. “Majority Rule” is not the solution to the problem of legitimacy. “It is the problem for which the Constitution and Republicanism is the solution” (Randy Barnett). Afterward all the States copied it and they put that kind of republican form of government into action in each state. Republicanism was the protection of the individual.
  • This is something we don’t have today with the Federal Government.

How did this happen? It took 100 years of slow but “progressive” changes to the government. There are two kinds of change in time with any process (Social, Corporate, Law). One is called “radical” change (change all the processes), the other “Incremental” change. Either, lead to outcomes not seen before. 100-year change is “incremental” (adjust the processes). The “radical change” was the introduction of the Administrative Government by Woodrow Wilson. The Incremental change happened after that. Incremental change, also called, the “process of incremental seduction,” is what has happened to our Nation over the last 100 years.

The “Administrative State” Rules our World, and the Bureaucracy live on. Nobody is responsible. Source, the author created the chart.

Political ignorance about systems and how systems work is rampant and has contributed greatly to getting to where we are today. They believe:

1. they still have a Constitution they swear allegiance to. They don’t follow it, so why do they do it? Maybe it is a smokescreen for us.

2. To send people to war to DIE, because that is what they swore allegiance to. During WW II, the Soviet Union had “Commissars” running behind the troops with orders to shoot their own troops if the order to attack was not followed.

3. They think (people in the government) they know better than we do, they will tell us what is good for us. Never mind it will cost much more money and reduce products contents to the point that they do NOT work anymore. Try Clorox to keep your whites, white. Brown is the new white.

4. Per then, influencer Herbert Croly, “whatever outcome leads to social justice is the outcome we ought to obtain.” when referring to the uneven outcome to individuals because of the regulations issued by the Administrative State having contradictions. This is still true today. Read up on Carter Page, a citizen, a Naval Academy Graduate Patriot. Singled out from the herd by the FBI. all under the guise of the now very famous “Patriot Act,” an oxymoron if there was ever one.

5. Sadly today, they do not obtain a “good” outcome either. Look at the total failure that LBJs “Great Society” programs have been. We are looking and LIVING the proof today. Poverty has not been solved, “social justice” has not been solved, listen to the “Woke” people. Nothing LBJ “implemented, with ALL of Congress behind him, has worked. AND, we are still sinking in DEBT.

We traded a Foreign Sovereign King in 1776, for a Local one today. The Federal Government Legislation, together with the Administrative State is the new and Efficient (they do it faster), “Sovereign Kings.” We are back to being SERFs.
