How New Writers Can Earn $40 Per Story on This 1 Platform

I understand how difficult it can be for new writers to make money from their work.
Finding a good place to start is hard and let’s face it, nobody is going to relentlessly keep writing stories without the incentive of making a decent bit of money in return.
The initial struggle can make writing not seem as lucrative as it is.
But don’t worry, I can confirm: Writing is very lucrative.
There are many writers charging hundreds of dollars for a 500-word story they whipped up in under an hour.
And while I’m a big supporter of new writers writing for content mills to make their first dollars, I’ll also be the first one to say it sucks to write for pennies per word.
However, I recently came across a platform that defies the odds of gravity and pays newer writers more money for their stories.
While the site isn’t geared specifically toward new writers, there are a few reasons I believe new writers can make great money there.
Before I give away the platform — yes, I’m letting the anticipation build — here are all the reasons why I believe new writers have the opportunity to make a lot of money on this one platform.
A review process
The writing platform I’m referring to has a review process. Before a writer’s story can be put up for sale, it has to be reviewed by the editors of the platform.
Don’t let this discourage you. The editors won’t just say “it’s not good enough” and reject your story.
They want your story to be approved because when it sells, they get a cut of the profits.
The editors will either accept the story or send back an email saying something needs to be adjusted for it to be accepted.
That’s it.
For me, it’s always been one minor edit — like adding a conclusion — that’s needed for the story to be accepted.
This is good news for new writers because not only will it help you with your writing skills, it also gives your stories the best chances of being purchased.
Set your own prices
Another good thing about this platform is that you get to set your own prices.
You could set the prices of your stories for much more than $40 if you wanted to. You’re in complete control of how much you believe your writing to be worth.
This is another good sign for new writers because you can look up the recent purchase prices for stories in your niche. After that, you can list your stories at a selling price you deem appropriate.
The reason I said $40 per story in the headline is because I usually list most of my stories around $55-$60 so they sell quickly, but after the platform takes its cut I’m left with $40 coming my way.
I’ve seen some stories sell for hundreds of dollars on the platform so it’s all about how much you think your story is worth.
No experience needed
The platform briefly asks about your writing experience when you apply to write, which is a super simple application to complete, but nowhere does it state you need to be a veteran writer.
Also, just because you’re a new writer to the platform doesn’t mean buyers will avoid purchasing your content.
I was able to make my first sales after a few weeks of being on the platform. At this point, I’ve written more than a dozen stories on the site and all but one has sold in a matter of days.
You don’t need to be a veteran writer to make good money on this platform.
