I have written and defended a doctoral thesis, which has improved my writing. However, writing on Medium is a different beast. Indeed, none of my articles have been distributed on Medium.

Since joining Medium on 28 December 2020, I have published 12 stories. Yes, I know 12 stories are nothing in terms of quantity, but I have many balls to juggle (more on that another time!).

Considering the time taken to write all the 12 stories, I am probably making something of the order of $1.0 per hour. Like everyone else, I am looking to maximise my returns from each story I publish. The following is my masterplan for the next six months.

I will write at least one article every week and publish it in the most suitable publication for that article.

I have started taking writing and storytelling courses online, which I hope will improve my future stories.
