How Much Did I Earn in December, Donating My Images to Pexels?

Do you want to know if I earned any $$ from donating my images to Pexels?

1$ in December.

And I have not received a donation since September.

Will I continue to donate (some of) my images?

YES!!

But in the new year, I need to follow a plan. This plan will help me to earn more visibility and potentially some extra passive income.

Below I will share more information about the strategy I plan to follow and, as always — your contribution will be appreciated.

But first — What is Pexels? Pexels is a website where you can find free-to-use images & videos. Similar to Unsplash.

Why do I prefer it? Because I can find any photo I want, I use it to store some of my images & videos, and it gives users the possibility to add a donation website. I use paypal, and I have actually earned some passive income by Pexels Users.

Another reason I enjoy it, is because many of the artists who use my material, tag my Instagram profile.

It gives me more visibility and it is also super rewarding to know that my island’s photos & videos travel the world!

For the record, I am enclosing the latest payments that I received. One in December and the last one in September.

I have also received donations of 5$ and once of $10!

I do consider this a (low income) side hustle, with a potential to provide greater amounts.

And this is my strategy for 2024.

  • I will try to make a seasonal calendar of photos to create. i.e. Creating Valentine’s / love images right after New Years .. etc etc..
  • I will see what the top photographers shoot, and try to improve my photo style
  • I will need to eventually buy myself a camera or a better smartphone
  • I will need to set goals and maybe try some other sites as well.
  • It would be interesting to see if and where we could submit AI photos for sell.

These are just some of my thoughts that I will implement next year, after I rest a bit.

Some of my images ..

That’s it for now!

I would love to know more about your thoughts and of course if you do anything else with your images, or any tips :)

Thank you!!

p.s. I just found out this link, it was May when I celebrated my first 20 M impressions!
