How Much?
Illumination

Watching the news yesterday, I got the opportunity to see a more beautiful side of our world. Pollution is down in all countries, and for the most polluted countries, its people get to finally see the real color of the sky and to witness how beautiful our world really is. That means Asthma suffers and others with breathing problems can breathe better. Yet they are more at risk than the rest of us because of this virus. It’s what they will be breathing in that matters, cleaner air or not. We all must pay a price.
Our streets are cleaner and safer, thus giving animals the freedom they craved. The freedom to roam, now we envy them. Still, there is a price.
People are dying, and doctors, nurses, all health care workers, and other essential workers are able to stretch themselves beyond elasticity. They are learning new things about themselves and humanity. They are finally getting the long-overdue love and kindness from all. Still with an attached price tag.
This is very painful to say, but COVID 19 had not only cleaned up our world, but it is also cleaning up humanity. It is showing us the value of life and how important all of us are, even the little insignificant people that do simple things that benefited us daily, which we ignore and give no thoughts.
How much will it cost humanity to stay the way we are now? Most countries are uniting for the survival of all. Can we stay that way? For cleaner air, a healthier environment, healthier bodies, more kindness, love, understanding, longer life, better living, kinder hearts, minds, and souls. Better people. Better thinking. Better living.
Will this be a dream come through? A vision that will only leave memories? Or can we keep the reality? How much are you willing to pay for all of the above? Even freedom has its own price tag.

Our world is a bbbeeeaaauuutttiiifffuuulll place and we will get through this.
Thank you for reading this piece. I hope you will enjoy it.
