How Many Stories Contributed to My Medium Earnings in January?

Finding passive income streams is a goal for many people. All you have to do is put in the initial work and steadily earn income for the future. Medium can be one source of passive income. All of those pennies, nickels, dimes, and maybe even a few quarters for each article can add up each month.

94 Stories Earned Money in January

I wrote 33 articles in January, but I earned money from a total of 94 articles for the entire month. Many of these were random reads for a few cents. Pinning older articles at the top of your profile is also a great way to attract new readers and boost earnings.

Writing evergreen articles is especially important. These articles are always helpful, and they can continue earning for a long time.

I just wanted to give a snapshot of an entire month to show you how older articles can still earn money on Medium. The dates of these articles range from current to several months old, and some are even from a few years ago.

One of my favorite parts about Medium is the ability to still earn money after an article is published. I’m used to getting paid a one-time fee with clients, and Medium is my only source of passive income.
