Poetry Prompt: Greeting Cards

I put a little work in, but a lot of love in; I use paper made of good memories, and ink made of tears of happiness. I write you a poem, warmed by my heart to keep you from the cold outside. I shower it with care and I leave a piece, just a little piece of my mind. I don’t write wishes, I just write hopes, then hide in them a little magic to help you when you need it the most.

Thank you, Lucy The Eggcademic (she/her) for the amazing prompt! 🥰

Every year I and my close friends send each other cards (especially Christmas cards!) that in some time years ago transformed from just greeting cards to really long emotional letters of appreciation. So when I saw this prompt I knew I needed to immediately share my love for them!

Strongly recommend sending your loved ones some greeting cards from time to time!

Also, strongly recommend checking out this brilliant piece by Kimberly Thomas! ❤

And not so strongly… but hey, still recommend something random from me. 😂
