I am finding that after concentrating on one thing for a while, my attention starts to slip, or I lose some sharpness of thought.

However, at no time has anybody ever dictated to you that to be productive you must spend a long time working on something.

I used to try to make 25 minute pomodoros work for me. But even that felt too long. It was like trying to shoehorn myself into a system which wasn’t right.

So now I’ve reduced the standard pomodoro length by ten minutes, and I work in 15 minute chunks.

And how I use Twos to do this is as follows:

  • I select a *thing*, and then I click on ‘Focus’ in the bottom menu. This brings up a timer bar at the top of the screen.
  • I click in the number box and select custom, and type in 15 minutes.
  • Then when the timer runs out, I stop working, have a little sing-song or whatever, and then set off for another 15 minutes.

Twos App makes focused working so easy.

If you haven’t used Twos App yet, I strongly recommend it.

You can write lists, to-dos, journal entries, long-form writing, anything at all. Plus you can share what you want with “Twos World”. The community is friendly and helpful.
